You’ll need an emulsifier such as soap to help dilute it before application
While it may have an “oily” smell to it, Neem Oil is super effective at preventing critter bugs from making your plants their forever home. A crucial detail that helps me is that in addition to spraying the plant is spraying the underside of plant leaves/foliage. Bugs love to hide there, so it’s important to remember. While it also is a little pricey, it will last you for a long time if used as directed. Also, make sure the container you’re using to apply the oil is only going to be used for it and it alone, because you can transfer the oil to things you may not want it transferred to. You’ll also need an emulsifier to dilute it before application, I personally recommend Dr. Bronners castile soap, as it’s all natural and partners beautifully with it. Ultimately, I’d recommend this oil to any farmer or small time gardener searching for ways to rid themselves and their plants of bugs and pests naturally. You’ll also want cold-pressed Neem oil, as processing with heat can destroy the oils effectiveness. Can be used on flowers, shrubs, plants, and trees.

Neem oil is not to eat so flavor rating will cause a bad review.
This review may be misleading since flavor is part of the review and I had to give it 1 star to move on. You don't eat neem oil. The value is good compared to local store that had it, some stores did not have any that was not already mixed. If you mix yourself in a spray bottle or pressure sprayer that's how you will save money. Just 2oz mixed with 4tps of dish soap in 2 gal water, I sprayed 15 big azaleas and 12 rose bushes. This is the first time i ever used it but ive had aphids and lace bugs that i want to see if this works to keep them from damaging the shrubs. I did a lot of research on line and everything i read says it will control insect infestation and fungus problems if used properly and it is easy to mix and spray in a pressure sprayer. The smell is not appealing while spraying it but does not linger for more than an hour or so. Neem oil is all natural no harmful insecticides.

Great for my bonsai trees
I spray all my Bonsai trees with this stuff. I just mix 1.5 tea spoons of neem oil & half tea spoon of dish soap to 4 cups of water. And I spray every 7 days and keeps bugs away. Just make sure that when you spray them keep them in shade until the solution dryes to avoid leaf burning or just do it at dusk or dawn. Also make sure that the spray bottle used is not a clear bottle, if the sun hits your mixture directly for a while it actually will jeopardize you mixture and won't be as affective.

Works!
The media could not be loaded. I have used Neem oil for years as an organic pesticide. I used it this time to combat a nasty case of potato beetles. ( fyi, they spread to other things, eggplants, tomatoes…and can kill the whole crop) anyways I mixed 2tblsp neem oil, a squirt of Dawn liquid and a gallon of warm water ( not cold or the neem oil clumps) and thoroughly sprayed all the plants, I also pulled off any adults I saw wandering around and put them in a jar of dish soap water), it took two treatments and a little vigilance but everything is coming back and no more potato bugs

Saved my azaeleas from lace bugs
I am on my third tree service because noone can keep the lace bugs form beating up my azaeleas every year-I have broken down and let them use hard core pesticides and still all leaves browed and sick each year This year I couldnt get them to come out in time so I had to spray myself and I used this twice over the months. So far GREAT. Green healthy leaves. A word of caution, you do have to use some dish soap because this stuff is real oil and coagulates in your sprayer. It does have that NEEM smell but that dissipates pretty quickly .
