I got these pens for writing at night and after using them a few times, I really like them. I was worried the ink and ball point would not be very smooth, since often products will be of less quality in one feature to have the other quality, such as lights in this case. I've had some pretty crappy ball point pens before that bleed and write terribly. These are not like that. The writing is smooth, the ink flow is not too much or too little, and it's easy to write with. I am surprised how nice they are to write with and I love that about them. The lights are also great. The blue one can be a little too bright when I'm tired, so the red is much softer and nicer. However, on other days the blue light is fine. Also, it doesn't actually look blue, it's just referring to the warmth factor of the light. It's a cool light vs. a yellow warm light like the red. Some people are saying that the clicking sound the pen makes is too loud. I don't find the sound any louder than a regular clicking pen. I've heard louder clicking pens than this. The only minor issue was a battery was corroded in one of the pens. I replaced it with a backup and it works fine. Both pens work great. I contacted customer service and they're going to send me another battery since I already had to get into the backup packs. They are very quick to respond, polite and friendly. To be honest, I know these kinds of products can have these kinds of issues, it's just the nature of this kind of stuff, and that's the main reason I bought these pens vs. others. Because other reviewers said how amazing the customer service is. Life isn't perfect, but when people are nice and accountable, that means everything to me. So if you have similar values, this company is great. And the pens are too.

Penyeah Pen with Light, Pen Light Flashlight, Lighted Tip Pen Light, 2pack - Red - These are fantastic pens for writing at night. I have only used them a couple of nights, but they write nicely and are bright. I am going to add some opaque tape at the tip to tone down the brightness at night like other reviewers have mentioned. They came with two extra batteries and four extra ink refills in a resealable plastic bag to keep air out. The ink refills do not seem very large, and I am not sure how long the ink will last, so I am happy that they included extra ink refills.

Great pens for older people , great for people that write a lot outside, in the truck or car.

I actually really like the way these pens write and the light is great. I use it to take notes if i wake up with a thought at night. However the biggest draw back is the ink cartridge runs out way to fast and although they give you extras you do have to end up buying refills too fast. The pen will start to skip after only a few times use. I ended up buying twice because again i did like the other points but in the end you are paying to much for a pen and it’s refills that don’t last. EDIT: I am changing the number of starts I gave this product . I realize that possibly it was the way I was using the product causing the flow of the pen to not work correctly (writing vertically holding my paper this way). The cartridges are small but the product does supply you with plenty . The customer service is excellent and they reached out to me to determine what the issue might be. Whenever , there is excellent customer service it makes the whole product experience so much better.

Good pen, Decent light

Was so excited to get these and use them for work. Sadly the red one flickers some and the other one doesn’t want to press up or down on when I press it down to write with. I was so looking forward to using these at work. I did change out the batteries for the red one but still flickers. 😭 Edit- I received new pens from the company to make up for the ones I got. They were so nice and very prompt with sending out new ones. They sent me extra ones as well and for a company to do that, makes me trust the fact that they will always put us customers first. Excellent pens, when they work :-/. The more popular these have become, the more the quality has begun to decline. I've been using these pens for appx. 6yrs now. If there were no issue with the pen from the start, I'd rate their quality 5 stars! However, there have been at least on two occasions that I have purchased the 5pck and one or two would not work (very low light; non-funtional) or would stop working within the same week I received them.

I've had these for a month now, and feel happy enough with them to write a review. I bought one Glo pen for myself and one for a gift. They are ballpoint , and I like the smooth way they write, without the little globs of ink cheap pens leave behind. The to is a nice size, fine, but not extra fine. Mine write black. The LED light is the best feature, nice and bright, clear white light, nice for taking notes in a dark auditorium or writing stories in bed. I kept the cap on mine, since I carry it in my purse, and don't want to accidentally wear down the batteries. Each pen came with several refills, and am extra set of batteries. I'd suggest you keep the little set of directions on how to change them. Overall, a great purchase and my friend was delighted with hers, too!

I was 'Extremely Pleased' with this order. I was very surprised to find in the package (thought I was only getting the 2 pens) 2 packs of batteries and ink refills, several of them. I highly recommend this product, especially if you are a Nurse or Security Guard, or Police Officer. I just love them so much I plan of buying more but a different style. Thank You.

Brilliant item. They a bit on the heavy side if you have arthritis and really bright ,however I only need them to write a few words so it works for me. They stylish and look expensive. Easy to use, ink flows nicely and the switch between led light or just to use the pen it’s easy. I like the fact that it comes with extra refills and batteries (1 set per pen), and that the package was sealed. Overall I do recommend and will be back for more should my calligraphy friends want some.

Excellent! Does exactly what it says on the tin. Question marks over the battery life (tbf it’s a tiny wee battery!!) but for a few minutes every night - does the job

These pens have been invaluable! Saved many an argument from a disgruntled partner! Enough replacement batteries and refills to keep you going for a while. Just to note- all replacement parts are available in Amazon, so you'll never need to dispose of this unless you damage it somehow. I'd buy these again tomorrow if I needed to!
