When used with the club tags the combination of this product and Shotscopes brilliant app and website dashboard is fantastic.The strokes gained analysis (versus abilities of your chosing) and peer comparisons across all sorts of data is incredible. Highlighting deficiencies in my game and what was costing me the most shots to work on had been invaluable. I can safely say it's transformed my game for the better.4 stars would have been harsh it's so good, however I haven't as yet worked out if "plays like" adjustments can be factored in and if the watch added club recommendations it would be pure perfection. Sadly....it's just incredibly good

I bought this as a replacement for my V3 after its body cracked after a few years of use. I like using Shot Scope as they have large clear numbers which I can read without have to put on reading glasses and not use touch screens. The new V5 seems more robust than previous models with better quality materials, and looks like a watch and not a brick on your wrist, this one records your steps as well as golf data.Cant fault it so far.

Hi,I have played only 11 rounds with this watch which has always had difficulty charging but now it will not charge at all!I have had this only 5 months with barely any use.I am having trouble returning this for a refund.Could someone help me with this please!Thanks

Pity that the battery is still not up to the job. I have purchased all the previous models and we were assured by Shot Scope that each model was going to address this issue. Sadly not.I select POWER OFF on this model and the watch battery goes flat in six days.To wear as a watch you have to charge it every night.Operation wise, functions OK. Nice touch with the watch screen setting. Hold indicator odds impossible to see in daylight. The strap is the comfiest so far.Many users have been calling for Stapleford scoring and handicap settings but still no such facility.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I had the G5 originally, but wanted more feedback for my game, the V5 allows me to shot track accurately and seems to pick up courses quicker.

Perfectly good gps watch on course with great hazard and overview features once you have learned how to access them. The shot tracking is very good though it has missed the odd off fairway recovery shot. The mobile app has a few eccentricities and isn’t great for editing after the round, but editing via desk top or browser is very easy and the subsequent data analysis is fantastic. Perfect for learning where improvements are most valuable.
