This cabinet is the perfect blend of capacity, quality, and price. Ease of assembly is the icing on the cake. This is exactly what I was hoping to find to protect my stereo from furry invaders.The amazon listing says this is freestanding, I'm not sure that's correct since the unit is "supposed" to be attached to a wall. That is not necessary for my use, so I skipped that.Very quick assembly. Instructions were easy to follow. Extra screws and pegs were provided. Drilling is required, but not difficult at all. The glass is well packaged, nestled between wood members, in a separate box within the overall box. The fasteners are quarter turn for the main members, while the rear thin wood is fastened with drill holes and screws. The pegs are loose fitting, seemingly by design.The wood is very sturdy and nicely finished. The top and bottom shelves rest on pegs and are height adjustable. The middle shelf (non-adjustable) is held with fasteners and pegs. The glass doors function flawlessly. The magnet which holds the doors pops in and out with a press.

Easy to put together. Unit was well packaged and there was no damage to any components from shipping. Instructions were clear and easy to understand . Seems well constructed and sturdy. Happy with the unit and the cost

Exactly what we where looking for. The quality is good for the money and yes the instructions are a little lacking but not impossible just take your time, took me less than an hour and I want rushing. Looks great put together.

This is my favorite Cabinet for the Stereo, CD’s etc.. I bought one like 6 years ago but it was flimsy as hell, I left it with the divorce. Homcom came out with exactly the same design but sturdy as a Horse.Homcom for the Win!

I really like the cabinet. It's sturdier than I expected. Assembly was simple. I had to modify the rear panels to ensure all of the connections could be made, which was no big deal. The panels were mildy damaged during shipping, but functionality fine. Upon Assembly I noticed of the magnetic touch latches was inoperable. When contacting customer service, the reply was crass. Even though I provided proof of my purchase, I was told the latches could not be replaced and that something "might" be done if I indeed purchased the cabinet. I bought a two piece set for $8 on Amazon and moved along. I recommend the cabinet, though I also recommend purchasing it from a different retailer. Cabinet four stars. Customer service two stars.

The media center was very well made and the assembly instructions were very good with the exception of the middle shelf that needs to note there is a front and back. I have room for our cable box, input switch, digital receiver & amp, blu-ray player, and shelves for our favorite movies, music, and books.

Easy to assemble and good looking. Good price!

I've put together a few things over the years but I'm not an expert or professional. The first one took about 6 hours, while my second purchase took around 3. If you're familiar with putting things together it should take less than that.The directions are slightly unclear when it came to putting on the back panels, but as long as you have a drill and the right size you'll be fine. One downside is that moving it around after putting it together is very inconvenient and i believe the directions mention this. Just make sure to put it together close to where you want it.
