As someone who has recently used this book, I can confidently say that it provides a solid foundation for learning the violin. Der Geigenlehrer meiner Tochter hat dieses Buch für den Unterricht empfohlen, weil es für die Eltern Erläuterungen zu den einzelnen Schritten gibt. Die Kinder können es ja nicht immer so kommunizieren, dass man sicher sein kann, die richtige Haltung zu üben. Wir kommen gut damit zurecht, die beiligende CD ist auch toll, das Üben geht damit sehr gut. Ich kann das Heft empfehlen.

Unfortunately, although the book is not used (that's why one star) the code in it is still used by someone else! Disappointed.. However keeping it since I already had access to the content since I got Viola volume 1 as well :) Otherwise, shipped so fast which is great.
