Does it come with the inductive plug wire pickup?

Yes... It comes with a lead wire and clamp as pictured it the ad, there’s a small hole in the upper left of the unit where you hook the lead. It can also be used wireless Or for twin engines I use both features at the same time by claiming the inductive lead to (1) plug wire and holding the unit at the other wire and mostly use it on the P21:42 for (2) stroke (1) cylinder or P22:44 for (2) stroke (2) cylinder or (4) stroke (4) cylinder. As a small engine mechanic this pocket size unit is my #1 go to Tach.

What kind of battery does it take? And just remove back panel to replace?

The back panel can be unscrewed to access the battery. The battery replacement is not user friendly but can be accomplished. The battery is soldered in from the factory. I wrote a review with pictures about this that should post after the amazon review in a few days. Modify at your own risk if the battery dies later.

Can the battery be replaced ?

I cannot find anything on battery replacement, but it does say battery life is approximately 20,000 hours, and unit shuts off automatically after one minute.
