On the smaller side
I am 5'2 & these fit pretty snug. I wear a large or around a size 12 pants. The lower part fit pretty tightly when I buckled them but calves are on the thicker side. These definitely aren't made for the larger American but they suited me well. I live in South Georgia so snakes are very common. I've been able to get a lot more outside work done a lot quicker because I don't have to be as cautious as when I didn't have any protection. I can imagine these being a lifesafe. These are also perfect for keeping briars off your pants.

Pretty good for smaller people.
These are pretty good and fairly well made, but definitely on the smaller side. I don't think they would fit anyone with thick legs or who is on the tall side, so be aware of that.I haven't been bitten by a snake yet so I can't testify to its effectiveness, but it's definitely better than just wearing a pair of jeans.Hope this helps.
