Sprouting Jar Strainer Lid - For Growing Organic Sprouts & Sprouter Screens - 304 Stainless Steel

I purchased these to use for sprouting seeds in a half gallon sized wide mouth jar and they worked great. They're super easy to use - you just pop the screen on the top and screw on the ring (the ring is interchangeable with regular canning rings as far as I can tell. For my initial sprouting experiment I rinsed the seeds twice daily and never had a single seed sneak through. At the end of the week there was no rust or warping on either the screen or ring. They wash very well in the dishwasher and come out looking great. I'm definitely looking forward to using them to make cold-brew iced tea with loose leaf tea this summer. Overall, these are easy to use and sturdy and I certainly recommend them.

There are a number of stainless steel lids being sold at various sites. The major complaint I have seen is that they rust, including this site. I have not found that to be the case with the ones that I have received. I have sprouted everything from peas to broccoli with utter satisfaction. I much prefer these to the plastic lids that I used for years.

Received order with the jar rings and missing the screen lids. Customer service had new order sent. Only used for one batch of sprouts but had no problems. Screens worked perfectly and did not rust as some reviews mentioned.

Decent product but did start to rust. I like them anyways but wish they were better quality.

I use these sprouting lids with a half gallon mason jar to sprout rice, beans, chickpeas etc before cooking. Sprouting increases the nutrients and makes them easier to digest. Sprouting takes time and a lot of rinsing and draining. This product makes the process simple and much less time consuming. The lids are durable and no signs of rust. And no micro plastics.

I use a mason jar as a cocktail shaker and this is perfect as a strainer for lemon drops etc. Glad it fit my wide mouth mason jars. I have no complaints so far, I just wish it was an option to buy just one... not sure what I‘ll do with two but I guess its good to have another in case I extend on my bartending skills

I have just started to become interested in sprouting and those Sprouting jars are so ridiculously expensive. These covers fit perfectly on the wide mouth Mason jars I had lying around from crafting. They are a great, cheap alternative and I have not noticed any rusting yet. Almost didn't get them, but decided the price was worth the chance. Hope they hold up!

One lid rusted out immediately, and the other rusted about 2 months later. It's so badly rusted that my scrubbing after each use degraded the threads in the lid and it no longer seals. Besides, it was not only time consuming to get all the rust off each time, it was also contaminating my sprouts. I contacted the seller with my concern, and the response I got back was "OK". Really? "OK"? What does that even mean? Very disappointed in the product, but more disappointed in the seller.

I have tried returning this item and have sent the package via courier asking for refund, but the package was sent back to me! What a waste of my money on a product and courier charges!! Not at all happy as despite lodging in a complaint, no action taken till date.
