The cartridges worked. I had to re-set my printer a couple of times and disable updates, but after that I had no issues. The color is not as deep as the original HP toner, but very acceptable for general office use.

These are excellent non-OEM cartridges, the very best I've used.Gave up on ink-jet after countless problems with dried ink-heads and poor print quality due to extended time between usage of the printers, regardless of brand.Changed over to an HP Laser but brand replacements are quite expensive so decided to try non-OEM. Initially they came without the chips which you had to transfer from your previous cartridges--a lesson in futility to say the least but over time, the non-OEM began to include the chips installed.This is by far the best set I've used of either kind. The colors are solid, no fade or inconsistency. Regardless of brand, be sure you buy paper made for a LASER printer--it matters and while it does cost a bit more, the quality difference is substantial.Packed well, easy to install and would definitely purchase again!

Cartridges installed in my HP printer OK. Software was accepted, as "non-HP".But regular paper seems to print OK. But I see three problems:Problem 1: each page is printed with a loud THUNK sound. I worry that this may eventually damage my printer.Problem 2. Print quality is sub-par: sometimes a thin blue line is printed across each page. IntermittentProblem 3. Photo-prints on glossy paper are fouled up, garbled. Ink displaced on the paper, ugly and messy.
