ASMARK Macbook Air A2337 Battery Replacement for 13-inch A2337(M1,2020) A2389 Battery

We shouldn't need to replace 4-5 year old batteries on MacBooks, but I've had to do a couple of these recently... and this is the battery I've chosen again and again.Asmark don't shout about it, but they actually honour a 2 year warranty with their batteries. This is unequalled. I have been buying and installing batteries like this one for my clients for 10+ years, and have not yet found this combination of quality vs value vs customer support vs warranty in any other seller. This battery performs as it should (very good battery life, not a single complaint), at a fraction of the Apple replacement cost, and with a longer warranty!Bravo Asmark.Installation is not to be taken lightly, but the necessary tools are all there, and if you don't have the isopropyl alcohol Asmark have even offered to refund $10 to cover that cost (and have done for all of my orders so far). Not 'easy' to fit, but if done carefully and with a firm, confident hand, you'll be fine. This is the second Asmark Macbook battery I've installed via Amazon. This one was for a Macbook Air 2020 M1 (the battery for the same year's intel version is different, don't get caught out!)Very clear installation instructions on video are linked as well as a good picture guide. It's important to heed the instructions regarding being careful not to thread the screws (and note the purple T3 screwdriver is for the internal screws, the blue one is for the external screws - the green one also supplied isn't used at all for some reason!).Here are a few things not mentioned -The battery is glued on as previous models but way easier and safer to remove. Unfortunately the flat speaker modules which also need removing were less easy as the glue strip just snaps - you may be luckier but the instructions make it look so easy! I had to resort to old-fashioned solvent and prying which took longer than it needed to but fortunately the speaker modules are fairly robust obviously taking care. The teeny tiny screws holding the trackpad and speaker leads are challenging to screw back in, you need good light and a steady hand plus great care not to lose them.One hour is about right and the skill level isn't too difficult for anyone with a reasonable amount of common sense. Beware not to use the wrong screwdriver or to overforce any screw (also if you press too hard you can slip and scratch the metal case). To be fair they do reinforce this point on numerous occasions, if you have better quality tools it's advisable to use them but the ones supplied do the job satisfactorily.The battery only starts working after the machine is plugged in - it came 70% charged and so far appears to work fine without having to do any recalibration or settings change as in the old days.Oh and it saves £100 vs taking it to Apple!

Comes with easy instructions and every tool needed. Took me about half an hour to replace the battery. So far it’s performing perfectly.

I have had this replacement battery in my Macbook Air for three months now. I have been very disappointed with it. From the outset, it has not kept it charge for long. It compares unfavourably with other batteries I have purchased for Macbooks in the past.Edit: The seller responded to what was originally a two star review, by offering a full refund. This is good customer relations and I hope that will reassure other buyers. In my case, I opted to try another battery, in case I was just unlucky on the first occasion.

Wanted to replace the battery in my MacBook as it was getting high in cycle counts and not lasting as long as it used to. The install was fairly simple (even simpler if you have some isopropyl alcohol around to help melt snapped adhesive strips) and after charging to 100%, allowing to fully discharge and then charging back to 100% it's all set to go! The capacity of mine seems to be slightly higher than advertised which is nice too. Can't comment on how long the battery will last but for now it's doing the job!

do not buy battery had leaked acid

I've had this for over 3 months and I can't tell the different re: performance. I was nervous at first but I have had zero issues. If you're unsure, I was too, get this battery! Also, I did repairs myself with no knowlegde. Zero isssue. Just go slowly, be delicate. I would buy from them again!!!

Comes complete with all the tools, arrived on time and as long as you take care to follow the instructions and use the correct tools it is an easy change to make. MacBook reports 100% battery life available.
