Excellent book. I could never draw anything! This book is absolutely amazing. Aska came up with a brilliant and simple way to teach drawing!. Her book on Perspective flowers is also excellent. I highly recommend even if you can only draw stick figures like me.You will be so proud of the flowers that you will be able to draw.

I am really impressed with this book. I admire the freeform flowers people draw and wanted to learn. This book shows step by step, breaking down each part in easy to reproduce steps. There are 50 beautiful flowers that are rated 1-4, 1 being the easiest. They provide 2 grids to practice and a large area for when you are confident to try on your own. The only criticism I would have is if they put in the table of contents the rating of each flower. I wanted to start at 1 and grow from there. I had to flip thru the book to find the level one flowers. Not a big deal but would have been nice.

Amazing book. If it can teach me to draw flowers, anybody can draw them. Good instructions and good pictures to follow. Worth every penny.

I am so excited to get started learning to draw flowers! Not only do you get step-by-step instructions for creating many different flower species but it also has pre-made tracing guides to give lots of practice. Beautiful book!

It is a very good practice book for learning to identify and draw all kinds of flowers. I am now drawing and painting flowers of my own.

I’ve been learning how to paint flowers, not really able to draw my subjects well. I came across this book on instagram. Decided to give it a try. Love this book!!I’m not well versed with drawing at all, that struggle has always hindered my progress and creativity.The method taught is quite simple and well written.Easy to follow and the results are something I’m happy with. Highly recommend this book.

I love drawing flowers and mostly get tutorials on line, but have a few books I’ve accumulated. I stumbled across Aska Hall’s book and am so glad I did! It is my favorite resource now. I got it a few days ago and have already just loved going through it and trying them all out. I love that she has step by step instructions, a tracing guide and also a light grid to help you do it on your own. So many great flowers and her style is beautiful!

This is a good book to have around. I was an Art Teacher and sometimes I have friends that come over and paint with me and they are not artistic so I let them use this book and they are thrilled to have it. I do use it occasionally myself. Many great ideas and easy to follow the instructions.
