Better than expected!
Due to health issues I decided to get this adjustable base along with the nectar mattress. It’s a great value for what you get. I really like you can also adjust the bed height off the floor. The remote is user friendly, the under bed low light is handy for dark nights and I could do without the vibrating. Although it’s VERY heavy, once in place it’s very easy to assemble. It’s a recommend for me.

Love the vibration
This is great. Love the vibration. Just wish it would last longer than 30 minutes at a time. Nice heavy high quality build. Easy setup. Remotes come pre paired. They do weigh over 100lbs so be aware when getting them where you need them

Great product although expensive
First insure you have an additional person. When they say this product is heavy they aren't kidding. If you set this up yourself, look to use the product for recovery. Overall, it works great. I'm still getting used to it and will need to reset the height so it isn't so high. Mine came with everything setup - all I needed to do was remove zip ties, screw the feet supports on, and install the frame pins in the center.

NICE QUIET BASE; LOUD ROUGH MASSAGE
This is not our first adjustable bed. We had one for over 20 years which we loved. Like this one, it was 2 twin XL's put together to make a king size. However, the remote controls would no longer work and we could find no where to purchase or repair them, and so we were sad to have to replace the beds. I shopped and researched and finally decided on these Nectar twin XL's. By comparison to our old ones, these are super light weight, which is a good thing. The old ones weighed a ton and besides the fact that we're now in our 70's and couldn't budge them, even carpet layers balked at moving them. Assembly was very straightforward and we had no problems lifting them. However, the instructions did leave a bit to be desired. One part of the setting up instructions advises: "Take note of the other orange zip ties holding the frame near the head and foot section of the base. You will cut these later in the set up." And then later you are instructed to "Cut these zip ties only AFTER the adjustable base is turned over on its legs. . . ." However, this is impossible simply because these orange zip ties are threaded through the holes that the legs must be screwed into and there is no way to install the legs with the orange zip ties in the hole for the leg. So, we cut the orange zip ties and REALLY held on to the assembly they were restraining as we quickly and carefully flipped the base to the top side. Thankfully, that worked fine. If I were simply reviewing the base I would give it 5 stars. It works quietly and adjusts at a speed which is not too fast and not too slow. However, when I take into consideration the massage features as well as the remote control, I would give those 3 stars. That's how I came up with an over-all 4-star rating. As for the massage, it is anything but a relaxing massage. Instead it feels like a ride on a vibrating motorcycle. It is more of a wake-you-up vibration than a lull-you-to-sleep massage. And it is definitely not whisper quiet as stated in the product description. From the photos in the product description it appears that there are 2 massage motors on each base. It also states that there are three different intensities. When I start the massage feature it is possible to cycle through 7 different intensities or settings, each one is faster and louder than the one before. The vibration is loud and intense, and the sound of the vibration sort of surges rather than remaining at a smooth, even pace, which can drive you nuts. Even after using the bed for 6 months, I still cannot distinguish which of the massage motors is running. A better arrangement for the massage feature would be separate function buttons for the back massage and the foot massage and each having just a high, medium, and low setting. I actually enjoy the massage feature when mine is turned off and my husband is running his at the lowest speed and my mattress is picking up a slight residual massage. As for the remote controls, as with any new toy the buttons are fun to play with. But before too long you just wish for a simpler button selection. The markings on the buttons are fine, but if you wear glasses don't expect to be able to see what they are when you wake up and grab for the remote to change positions. Unless you want to fumble for your glasses, better start memorizing where the buttons are that you want to use the most. And beware of the nightlight function in the remote because it is VERY BRIGHT when you've been asleep in a dark room. And also I would warn you to avoid the under bed light button on the remote. It sounds convenient, but once you push that button be prepared for a multi-color light show that bounces off the walls of your bedroom and which you cannot turn off before you cycle through every single color. I have not yet tried to use the app to control the bed, but having had the remotes on our old adjustable bed become useless, this was a feature I wanted to have available should that happen after time has passed. Also, if you have had an older adjustable bed which was a wall hugger, then it may take a bit of adjusting to get accustomed to this one as it is not a wall hugger, but that has not turned out to be a problem with us. One nice thing compared to our older adjustable bed is that this one does not have a bunch of motors and hardware hanging underneath. It is well contained in its thin base. Therefore, it is much easier to clean under the bed. In conclusion, I hope I haven't scared you away from this base. As I stated, I give the base 5 stars. So if you're not looking for one with the massage feature, then this one would work great for you. But if you opt for the massage feature, just don't expect too much.

Heavy, delivery nightmare
Delivery was a nightmare - the adjustable base and the mattress were delayed and arrived separately in different days. The base was super heavy and the delivery guy did not bring it up to my unit on the 3rd floor (even though it says free delivery included). The unit was so heavy as it was one entire piece for the queen size, it was impossible for one person to put together. But the mattress was comfortable and the base works well once it’s all put together.
