Ownership required for anyone who needs to keep their hands busy when pondering the facts of life
This is probably the most hipster object I have ever bought, and I love it.I've always enjoyed stacking and balancing things in piles as tall as possible, much to the annoyance of my friends in restaurants/bars/office meetings/etc. The problem is that when you stack things, everything ends up falling apart sooner or later; for that reason, traditional office objects (phones, hard drives, etc.) are not the best candidates for such a hobby. (for more about the hobby, search "rock balancing" on wikipedia). So when I saw those in a novelty store, my interest was piqued right away. When I got home, I was delighted (but not surprised!) to find them on Amazon for slightly cheaper. The quality is great (painted wood), and the weight and shapes are varied enough to offer many, many different ways to stack them. The cotton cloth pouch they come in also has structure suggestions printed on it.If like me and many others you enjoy stacking things while pondering the important things in life, those belong on your desk.

Good for Children
These look great and are well made. At first, the blocks were a big hit but the enthusiasm faded fast. They are easier to do than they look. Our grandchildren built structures a few times and that was it. I'll bring them out again after some time passes. It is a high price tag for something that looks cool but doesn't get used often.

Perfect
Bought these for my husband who loves to stack rocks so he has something to do in the winter. He loves them.

Pricey
These things are cool. I feel like someone could make a bigger version out of 4X4 pieces and it be just as nice.

Totally unnecessary but very satisfying
These are basically grown up toy blocks that are totally ok to keep on your coffee table as decor. I dig it.I keep them in a wooden dish I got from Target. It reminds me of a rock garden, without sand.

Great quality
We purchased these for my 3 year old who wanted blocks for Christmas. They have a little challenge that can grow with her and encourage her understanding of balance and prinicples of physics.
