Klein Tools 38660 Locking Pliers Set, 7-Inch and 10-Inch Curved Jaw Pliers, Quick Release Handles, High Torque and Gripping Power, 2-Piece

I am honestly surprised at the quality and functionality of these pliers. I was hesitant at first, because the screw-end adjustment mechanism for the locking jaws was unfamiliar to me. I was worried I wouldn't like it, but I was completely wrong. These are awesome! They are comfortable in the hand, having coated grips, and with a sturdy, solid feel that I haven't experienced in locking pliers from my past. These pliers are a good size and have a strong locking mechanism that's surprisingly well-balanced to hold tight, but also be easy to unlock. At the time of my purchase, these were an absolute bargain, with an affordable price-point that makes these an excellent value for the dollar. I own several Klein tools, and I've been impressed at the quality and design of each of them. Not only are these pliers my new favorites, but Klein Tools has become one of my new favorite manufacturers.

Superior quality stainless steel. They won't rust and wear out. I always use the original brand but these make the original feel like toys. They have several key improvements. They are much easier to squeeze and lock applying a lot more pressure when locked while using a lot less and force to lock them. I still like the originals but they don't compare to these. Klein tools are hands down the best. A cut above All the rest. $25 for a two pack. A 7" inch and a 10" locking set of Klein Stainless Steel Locking Pliers. Unbelievable!! I've always used and liked the original brand but these make the original feel like toys in your hand. All you have to do is pick one of these up, feel the weight of this tool and you know you're holding a piece of quality in your hand that will last you beyond your lifetime and your children and grandchildren something to be handed down for generations. Best vise grips I've ever used. I'm a fan now. The serattions are awesome and bite everything I've used them on. The no lever release is the best invention ever. These work flawlessly.

I use these for plumbing actually. I needed a quality vise grip to hang onto a fitting while using my free hands to unsweat a copper fitting. Previously I bought a Milwaukee vise grip and it was pretty disappointing. It felt like a Harbor Freight tool at a premium price. Klein made a great hand tool here. Feels great, Looks Great & Works Great!

Locking pliers come in a wide range of quality. Over the years I have bought them blindly only to find the tips wear out, the threaded lock level springs loose and a lot of side to side wiggle on the plier tips. These are some of the best I have ever used and well worth the cost. Buy a good set once and never struggle with a cheap set.
