Horrible sun umbrella. Very flimsy and will flip inside out at the slightest breeze. Don't waste your money on this product. Don't fall for the good reviews like I did.

This is my second son reflecting umbrella. The open and close button on this umbrella is very easy to operate. My first reflecting umbrella (a different brand ) is a heavier material and larger which is great if you don’t have to carry it a long way. However, this little 50. UV is the perfect personal size and is not too heavy. I took it to the beach on a very windy day and deliberately let the wind blow it inside out, and then blow it right side in to test it out. The closing mechanism worked perfectly. This is a really, useful sun protecting and cooling umbrella for personal use while walking. This would make a fabulous gift for anyone. It’s amazing how much cooler it is having the reflective material on top, reflecting the sun away from you. It really makes a huge difference. This is easy to use, the perfect size , not too heavy and I think the price is right.

Although the description says “free returns” the seller did not accept a return of the unopened, unused parasol. It was too heavy and cumbersome, and it was deceiving to put “free returns” in the description. Stay away from this seller.

I like to have a few umbrellas in each of my cars. One of mine was wearing out from use over the years so I looked around for a replacement. I wasn't really looking for a solar reflective umbrella but when I saw this I thought I would check it out. It seems to be well made and I feel it should last quite a while. I’ve already used it in the rain and it performs as expected, with easy opening and closing. As temperatures rise as we get into summer I'm looking forward to checking it out to protect from the heat as well. It's a very nice two function umbrella.

Nice thick material. Repels sunlight well. Normal weight for an umbrella. Snaps back quickly in heavy wind. Very happy with this purchase!

The elastic mechanism breaks after less than a year of use rendering the umbrella useless. Unreliable. Don’t purchase if you need it to work.

I bought this umbrella less than a month ago, yesterday I pushed the button for it to open, one of the Plastic pieces broke, so now it droops instead of Staying open all the way around.When I was researching these sun umbrellas, I made a point of not purchasing the cheapest, in hopes that this wouldn't happen. Silly me.
