plug and done!
This is an excellent piece of kit. I plugged it in , connected to a spare battery and saved all my cars settings whilst I changed the battery. It doesn't push in very far to the OBD, so look for the white light to make sure its connected. One gripe is that the lead is short, you will need a spare battery. Pity the lead isn't longer then you could connect it to another car , should thee be one.

great tool
Whenever I'm doing some work on the car that requires the battery to be disconnected, I always need to recode the car radio. This tools is the solution for that. I can plug it into the OBD2 connector in the car and plug another battery on it and I won't need to recode the car radio again.

Perfect solution for battery replacement coding issues
Great solution. I use an old motorcycle battery to power the device. Just plug it into the EOBD2 port and swap battery at your leisure. Save a fortune getting new battery coded to your car with this simple solution. Great value too.
