Do NOT use anywhere near a turbo (as the manufacturer states) It WILL fail.
Bought this for high temp coverage and checked on manufacturers web page. Confirms usage on turbos. Long story short, i followed instructions for all manufacturers and then heat treated as specified. This just turns to dust. The parts in question vibrated loose and fell off the turbo. There was minimal thread lock present (it all burnt away in less than 200C/392F temps.). i have had a further play with settings etc and this stuff starts to disintegrate at 50C/122F. far from the boast of 1093.33C/2000F. Due to the nature of the part i used, it ended up being welded in place. This stuff is more like "light duty" rubbish!

Not worth the cost
Followed the instructions but no better than cheaper products

I'm not sure what to expect as I had my doubts about this product as it just looks like a small bottle of water. Goes on very thin so be very careful. I had to repair a propane heater for outside use and I always run into the clam shell screws shaking loose over time. Most lock tight products just can't handle the heat so I thought I would try this while I'm purchasing others to replenish my stoke. In all honesty, when it first poured out the spout, I chuckled and thought how gullible I was, but you know what... the darn thing is holding solid and I have run the unit for over 5 hours at a time, twice. My new concern is if I am going to have problems removing the darn screws.

Picked this up as a cheaper alternative to Rocksett just to mix things up. Vibra-TITE is a solid brand with a good rep, and this stuff definitely delivers. I mainly use it for QD muzzle devices and gas blocks, and it’s held up great under heat and repeated use. One thing I appreciated right off the bat: it actually comes with an expiration date clearly printed on the label — which is nice because, yes, these things do go bad, even if most people forget they’re technically chemicals with a shelf life. My only complaint? The size. Unless you’re running an assembly line or building an arsenal, this bottle is overkill. I’d love to see an in-between size—bigger than a one-time-use packet, but not enough to threadlock the Pentagon’s entire inventory. ⸻ Bottom line: Performs just as well as Rocksett, comes from a reputable company, and saves a few bucks. Just be prepared to share, store, or start a side hustle as the neighborhood armorer. 4 out of 5.

I purchased this product to install several muzzle brakes. The key in getting a strong bond is to follow the instructions. Both mating parts must be throughly cleaned prior to applying the Vibr-TITE. Hand tighten the mating parts prior to applying Vibr-TITE adhesive to make sure they fit properly. After I applied the Vibr-TITE, I torqued the muzzle brake in accordance with the manufacturer's specification. I used a heat gun to raise the mated parts temperature to 250⁰F. I used my laser temperature reading tool to make sure the mated parts reached 250⁰F. I continued to apply heat evenly all around the mated parts for 10 minutes. I let it cool to room temperature. I applied 150 percent of the initial torque value to the mated parts and they held together tight. Vibr-TITE works at high temperatures. I would recommend this product to a friend.

I used this on an adjustable gas block that clamps on for good measure. Also decided to put my muzzle device on with it and ultimately the rear HUB qd mount on another suppressor that was sometimes coming loose. So far it has worked, I cleaned and cured the locker and you can see it seep into the threads and expand as you’re heating it. The white residue cleans off with a nylon brush. Not sure why people are having muzzle devices come off so easy I torqued all mine on correctly and never had one come off this was just for good measure. On a 5.56, with about 6000 rounds no issues before or after applying it to a Dead Air keymo mount. Also used on a 300 blk and 7Mag for the mounts and a dead air primal hub, the sandman is a fixed mount. I cleaned with a nylon brush, then iso-alcohol let it dry then 1-2 tiny drops on the male threads, screw, torque to desired value, then heat. I heated with a heat gun and it got plenty hot. Air cool then wipe down with oil and let it set. The heat will burn off the oil on the metal.
