An Honest Review Of OpenTech Edge To Edge Tampered GlassReviewed in India on 16 may 2021I bought this for my Samsung A51 and here is my complete review with some PROs and CONs after using it for some time now.Drop a like if you feel the review is honest and helped you :)Goodies (Pros) :1. The packaging was top-notch! It was delivered..2. The adhesion seems to be of remarkable quality.3. Provided the installation kit, it was fairly easy to install the glass on my screen.4. The packaging gives out a clear vibe that the manufacturer are quite ambitious with their new startup5. Glass itself is smooth to touch and clear enough after being applied on the screen.Things to reconsider before buying (Cons) :1. This product as a whole costs around 400 rupees. That's for a tampered glass. Let that sink in.2. A local phone service center near me sells Tampered Glass of decent quality (with application service) all inclusive of 150 rupees. This makes me consider what makes this glass soo special that its noted worth of 400 rupees.3. The cleaning kit comes with something called 'dust cleaning stickers' and I have no clue how to use it whatsoever. Maybe a tiny manual instead of useless cards telling not to provide low ratings would've been helpful.4. The product comes with a pamphlet asking the consumers not to post an bad review, even if the consumer had a terrible experience with it. This seems like poor move on behalf of PR.Whats Insde The Box and what I think about it :The box comes with these things.1. Tampered glass wrapped in a cushioning soft sponge like material which I doubt is eco friendly.2. Installation kit (Orange wrapper) that has a tiny piece of Wet wipe, a little cleaning cloth and something called dust removing sticker that I have no clue how to make use of.3. Two cards/leaflets. One says the product is amazon exclusive and the other asking users not to post bad review for the product which is just a unprofessional move on belaf of manufacture.Overall :The product seems posh and of generous quality. However, I would opt out of buying a fancy 400 rupee Tampered glass since I can get one for almost as high as 150 rupee and not a single penny above. If you are willing to spend over 200 rupees on a tampered glass because of its fancy packaging and hoo-haah, you sir, are wealthy.Conclusion : I like the glass. I did mess up a little bit during installation but thats on me. For me, this product for what it offers, is really expensive. Something like this should've cost around 200 rupees, not the double.#copy paste from another consumer.(I exactly feel the same)

Poor quality. The glass curve isnt as per the phone screen dimensions. When I put the glue and layed down the tempered glass, it obviously didn't fit properly as there were gaps inside. The gaps were not because I couldn't fix it properly but it cannot be fixed properly because of irregular glass width.Overall it was a mess. Highly dissatisfied.

The availability of tempered glasses for iQOO 9 is very rare, as many of you would agree. This one is currently a good choice on the market. I wouldn't say it is the best tempered glass for the device, but currently the best one on the market that I have tried. This one sits properly within the case and the application itself is really easy. Doesn't form bubbles even if a minor dust particle gets inside.The two gripes I have1. A little bit pricey. Around Rs: 150 would have done it.2. The display is little hidden on the edges. Very very minor though, not much to affect daily usage, but it is there.If I try any other tempered glass and it is better than this one, I'll update here.

It serves the purpose. Recently my Pixel 7a fell on road with small rocks and dust, and screen guard took all the impact and left no scratch on my phone.

My review is for all those buyers who look hard to find a good product in this segment however it get difficult to land on a perfect purchase. I bought three tempered glasses in total for all phones in my family, initially ordered one to test-try and found it to be good plus easy to install and then bought two more.The Pros are -1. Comes with all accessories needed like alcohol swab and micro fibre cloth to clean. Most of the products come with either of these two and won't help you as you really need both.2. Also comes with sticker to catch the tiny dust particles or threads to leave your screen complete dust free before you apply glass.3. Comes with Alignment stickers - They help you to align tempered glass properly so that you don't have to adjust much after placing it.4. Adhesive is great. Been using if for quite some time.5. Most important - had few accidental drops, screena nd tempered were intact.6. Not to unnecessarily expensive.Honestly didn't find any cons.To all those who fear that you won't be able to do it yourself. I must say I felt the same and after just watching a video tutorial and then trying for the first time gave me perfect results and enough confidence to try on other phones. All the accessories make it possible for a dust free screen and that is the only part which is important, applying glass is the easy part.Go for this and you won't regret.- Honest reviewer and loyal Amazon prime member.
