Works great, not cheap but worth it.

Not compatible with many TVs
My Samsung TV was not compatible with this device, so I am returning it. If you are thinking about buying it, first check your TV to see if it will output to both the Digital Optical Audio jack AND the speakers. If it won't, then you can't have both the Resound device and TV speakers working at the same time. Whoever has hearing aids could hear, but nobody else. The alternative requires old-style audio output jacks, which many modern TVs don't have (including our Samsung.)

No instructions on how to use in box
My only complaint was there was no instructions in the box. Luckily it was easy to install and set up. Once connected to the TV and my hearing aids I could not believe that I could finally hear and understand what was being said.

This was a plug-and-play replacement for my father's device whose USB connector broke off. Worked like a charm. Delivered quickly with the expected excellent service from Amazon.

Sound Disappointment
I have not noticed any changes in my hearing using the device with an LG smart TV. The volume controls don’t work. Very disappointed .

Did not work for me
I connected per instructions but never worked. New Samsung tv with optical cable showed connected & hearing aid app showed same.
