Why Apple decided to discontinue the headphone port is a mystery. This item does work, but wish we didn’t need it.

Great quality and charges my phone while I’m listening to music with the aux.

Do not buy if you’re expecting both pieces to work. This company doesn’t seem to have a quality control department. One piece doesn’t charge nor does it have audio. It’s more like a display model than an actual working model. No wonder they sell them in pairs…they hope at least one of them will work. And they sell them cheap enough that it’s costlier to send the item back than just to bite the bullet. Too bad Amazon’s rating system doesn’t allow for negative stars because this product definitely deserves one and so does the seller for not ensuring that the product actually works before sending it to the customer.

Audio: The audio is okay. No highs, no lows. It could also be a function of the cheap earbuds I am using also.Power: Charging rate is slower but it keeps up with phone usage.The problem I am having with this adapter on a Oneplus 7T Pro is that I can't charge and use headphones at the same time. When I plug in a charger, the headphone icon disappears and the headphones disconnect. The headphone icon and audio returns only when the charging cable is removed.If I can't find a resolution, I will likely return them.Seller reached out to me to but we were not able to resolve the issue. Seller was super helpful and did everything they could to resolve before the return. Ultimately we're were not able to get it to work on my phone and seller was understanding. They were extremely quick in answering questions and concerns returning my messages the same day.An additional note, I actually bought 2 sets of these adapters. My daughter's iPhone 15 works perfectly with it charging and using the headphones at the same time. Due to this and great customer service, I am changing my review to 4 stars as I think it is just a phone compatibility issue and not a faulty adapter.

You need these for the new phones with USB C connection

I got two adapters and both of them stopped working within a week. Very poor quality.I have to add that the seller contacted me of their own accord and refunded me for the cables so that showed integrity on their part. Thank you to the seller for addressing this.

These are perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Parts showed up to my house fast and well packaged.
