This little guy is Amazing!
Ok. I was hesitant at first thinking will it do a good job. Wow I am impressed. I used to have my lawn professionally cut but the cost was way too high. Looking for a lawn mower I came across robot mowers and did the research. Anthbot was highly rated. It cuts my lawn beautifully. Better than the professional service I had before. Its criss cross cut doesn’t miss a spot unlike the other “random path” mowers available. This one amazes me (and my neighbors). I just received my 2nd unit for a separate fenced in back yard (puppies) and can’t wait to install it. I buried the wire with a yard edger. But you don’t have to. Simple and did not take too long. Assembly was easy and now I mow with the push of a button. I really love this thing. Thank you Anthbot for such a great mower. Now I save hundreds each month and only have to use a trimmer for 5 minutes. This is a definite buy. Battery life is great and charges itself when needed. Oh and the app works easily and flawlessly. The mower climbs up and down my small lawn hills effortlessly and again it cuts the lawn perfectly!

Excellent Customer Service
I purchased the ANTHBOT robotic lawn mower to ease the difficulty in cutting of my backyard. Because my backyard is steep with a 22 degree angle, I always found it teddious to cut the lawn while keeping my balance. I received the robot in a very timely manner and found it to be packaged very well. All parts were present and included ample number of plastic ground pegs to hold the boundary wire in place along with a significant amount of wire to cover the entire perimeter of my yard. I liked the design of the robot, especially the extra large rear wheels that were studded to enhance traction. Setting up the robot was extremely easy, especially using the app, which made the setup procedure go very smoothly. The quick start-up guide along with the instruction booklet were well written and easy to understand. Charging the robot went quickly and overall, I had everything in place and ready to go within a few hours. Unfortunately, I ran into problems getting the robot to operate in a consistent manner due to the steepness of my yard. Running horizontally was not an issue. Problems existed when the robot attempted to turn either uphill or downhill. Going uphill, the robot would slip and lose traction mostly due to the loose soil that contains a lot of sand. Going downhill, the robot would again slide and become unable to negotiate the turn and stay on course. Another issue that contributed to the poor traction is the fact that I live on top of a mountain where there is a lot of moisture in the air, so the grass is usually somewhat damp, which allowed for more slippage and additional loss of traction. I cannot blame any of these problems or concerns on the ANTHBOT robot as the result of poor construction or a design flaw since any robot currently available in the marketplace would probably experience similar difficulties and fail in a similar manner. I spoke with the companies customer service department and they provided several helpful suggestions, none of which improved the situation. The robot would work exceptionally well when running horizontally across my yard. It only experienced problems when attempting to make turns up or down the angled yard. It should be noted that I had a great experience with customer service and they were very helpful in trying to come up with ideas that might eliminate some of the problems I was experiencing. When all else failed, they indicated that I could return the robot, no questions asked, and receive a full refund, which is what I did. Overall, I feel that the ANTHBOT lawn mower would be a wonderful option to consider for cutting ones lawn under normal circumstances.

Beware! Don’t Buy unless you like to babysit!
At first the robot was amazing! But every week it started to get worse and worse. It takes forever for the lawn to be cut, we’re talking hours! Almost an entire work day. The bot easily gets stuck, doesn’t mow edges literally almost a foot of tall grass from the edges which is wild! Tons of issues and errors! Even if you have a small yard don’t do the basic mower get one with a larger battery and hope you have a better experience than I have. Update: I received a new robot same issues, it gets stuck, I’m having to babysit the thing! I highly don’t recommend this product. Best to pay a little more and get an AWD robotic mower. I also decided to return this thing and they aren’t able to send me a box to place the old mower and return. Major inconvenience now that I have to buy a box and hope I get my full refund on time. 5 reasons NOT TO BUY 1. Takes all day to mow the lawn 2. It gets stuck easily due to not being AWD 3. Doesn’t mow tall grass 4. Doesn’t do well in edges 5. Built quality is poor If you have simple grass, no roots, trees, no side walk or anything concrete like a drive way that’s slightly taller then the grass, no soft ground or might dig itself and get stuck then this is for you. If you don’t mind babysitting the mower this is for you. If you have extra $$$ I suggest wait for an AWD version or go elsewhere and find an AWD mower.

Great Mower Great Company
After some initial issues with a defective part, we have our new automated lawn mower up and running. It is wonderful! Nothing more relaxing that being able to do the stuff we enjoy doing like working in our gardens, than cutting the lawn. The mower is solid and very quiet; you will hear your neighbor's edge trimmer above this lawnmower. We experimented with various modes; the cross pattern and others, all work as advertised. We also noticed that even in the areas of our yard where we have some uneven terrain the mower mows great. As far as the setup, laying down the wireline is easy, so in terms of pricing this wired model is so much better priced than those that do not require wires. For us laying down the wire is well worth it considering the price difference. The app we loaded on our phones is easy to use and informative, it provides a visual representation of the grid area and the progress while the mower is mowing. We also like the tall grass mode! Lastly, as with all these new companies, customer service is always something to consider. As we stated at the start, we had an issue with a part and the customer service at ANTHBOT was outstanding, quick and caring response, quick resolution. Thanks Anthbot.

Slow
Another update as of 4/10/25. I now have the second mower up and running and my entire yard is getting cut. The yard looks nice after doing the cross cut. It took some time but with the excellent customer support from Rachel I believe this product is going to work great for me. All that will be needed from me is some light trimming. Also with the scheduling that I set up it is pretty much automatic. I would like to update this review as of 1/7/25. Customer Support has bent over backwards to help me with my issues. They have sent me a second mower to help me with the issues I have run into. Very accommodating. This mower is very slow and the guide wire given only covers the 10,000 square feet it states it covers if your area being mowed is a square or rectangle. If you have front and back yard and landscaping to go around it doesn’t cover nearly that much. My yard covers roughly 5,000 sq ft and I did not have enough wire. The mapping of the yard was just under 4900 square feet and it takes 10 hours to do one cut. If you select a cross cut it would take 20 hours to finish the job. The mower has to map your yard before every cut and takes 15% of the charge to do so and it doesn’t cut the yard while it maps. The instructions are very poor and does not tell you any of this information and does not give you any hints about laying the guide wire, such as not trying to cover every little knook and grany. If you have a small yard and it is square/rectangle the mower does an okay job and doesn’t miss much grass when cutting. If it is odd shape and medium to large in size, I would not recommend this mower.

Middling Device Performance; Solid Customer Service
Updated Review: Customer service has been a pleasant surprise. While I still have some reservations wholeheartedly recommending this product given limitations (see below), customer service experience including replacing a defective unit under warranty and troubleshooting app connectivity and path algorithm issues have been high quality. Original Review: Title: 10 months out: can't wait for it to die so we can hire lawn ppl again Overall, when it works well, it's great. However, it has probably only worked flawlessly for at most two weeks continuously over the last 10 months. Most of the time it only goes a couple of days before having to be rescued and/or reconnected to the Mower app via a factory reset in order to utilize the automated scheduled mow functionality. Our lawn robot died within the first year, and we were able to redeem the warranty for a free replacement (yay), but it took about a month to get said replacement (boo). Going without the mower for a month was not good, and it would have been pretty much a non-starter if we didn't have the opportunity to borrow a friend's mower because the robot doesn't handle overgrown grass very well. Financially, for this to "pay for itself" / compete with the costs of hiring a lawn service, it would have had to last two years (for us, it was about $600 including tax at the time of purchase). It doesn't have the boundary wire capacity to cut our entire small-to-moderately-sized lawn, so we would have needed two robot mowers to last two years to make it worthwhile, which the first unit didn't. Things we wished we'd known about lawn robots and this lawn robot before purchase: 1) Probably should have realized this but, it doesn't do edging very well, especially near fences and thus doesn't obviate the need for a weed whacker aka string trimmer 2) It doesn't remove grass clippings, which isn't an issue until inevitably the mower doesn't work for long stretches when on vacation, the grass gets long, and then the clippings impact the health of the lawn. 3) Having a lawn robot also meant no perks of leaf removal from a lawn service. Leaves and debris that normally were blown out of garden beds became another time-consuming and equipment-requiring chore for us that we didn't account for. 4) The start up costs were significant with the boundary wire and installation of docking station. It required many hours of work crawling around on the ground to set up the boundary wire and then some troubleshooting later. After that, we didn't have many issues with the boundary wire at least. 5) The associated Mower app is frustrating. I converted an old router into a wifi repeater to improve signal strength near docking station as our router is on the opposite side of the house. This improves signal strength but doesn't solve connection issues. When the mower throws an error code from getting stuck, jumping over the boundary wire, etc., I've been unable to reconnect the mower to the app without a factory reset. This is less than ideal for myriad reasons not least of which is the mower generally takes the same path so parts of lawn are mowed many many times while other sections are routinely missed. The mapping feature is neat, and the ability to alter cut direction is nice, but the connectivity issues after an error are infuriating.

Genie 600 review - update!
Update 7/14: I'm changing my review from 3 to 5 stars. First of all, the support has been great; very responsive. Secondly, I've come to better understand these robot mowers. It appears that they all run for about an hour, and then go back to recharge. I originally thought they would mow in one pass, but I don't think any of them do this. Perhaps the trick is to break the yard into different zones, and do one zone at a time. This way, you don't have the mower running all day. So, I'm going to buy the mower again with this understanding. By the way, the app works great. I tried the Mammotion mower, and couldn't get the mapping to work : sent it back. Hello all, this is my review of the Genie 600 robot mower. The concept is good. Set-up wasn't difficult, and the mowing is pretty good. The only real issue I have is battery life. As I understand it, the 600 model is made for up to 900 square meters. My lawn area is 250 square meters. Should be a cinch for the battery to handle in one pass, right? Well, my latest mow required the mower to make two trips back to the charging station to recharge before finishing the lawn. The mower does this automatically, so that's good. It just seems to me that the battery should have more strength for such a small lawn as mine. If my lawn was the full 900 square meters, the mower might be running all the time! I reached out to support, and they indicated my experience was normal. Update 6/17: I ended up dismantling everything and returning the mower.

Great mower!
My wife and I have enjoyed our robot mower! It's helped give us more time to do things that we love and last time spent mowing our yard. It's done a fantastic job and gave us a great looking yard Even our dog loves it The company is very responsive if you have any issues with the robot and will work with you if there are any issues. The only thing I will say is that setup takes a little bit of time with the wire. In the future my wife and I hope to try the wireless robot aka Gemini. We have had some wire brakes but the wire is fairly easy to fix so long as you have enough clips We have been impressed with the fact that doesn't eat the golf balls that land in our yard I have definitely enjoyed the mower and look forward to the spring so that the mower who we have named MO can go out and enjoy the yard! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to try a robot lawnmower
