I had a 13 year old laptop which was not turning on. I needed some files from that HDD. Searched for a couple of options like case and also SATA cables. The con with the cable i beleive is that it might get loose when you're connected and if you or someone push it accidentally. The case is really good for this. The HDD just slide in the port with ease. It's just plug and play, the speed is quite good and no problem of loose connection. Looks cute with the transparent case. Only thing, you have to slide down the other half of the case holding the microcontroller side up and just slide it down. Do not try any other ways. It would have been better if there would've been a note about how to open it. Rest, totally worth it

Excellent build quality, perfect dimensions for a 2.5" HDD/SSD. No loose gaps or a loose connection. Working perfectly. Detects Hdd as scsi hdd and Ssd as Ssd on my Win10. Box says it detects upto 4Tb disk, i tested with my 2Tb hdd and detected perfect. Also includes a rexine sleeve in box. Transfer speed I am getting around 90Mbps for my SataIII 5400rpm drive, which is very decent. Was not expecting this quality, Pleasantly surprised at this price. Recommended.

This product is very good , I am happy with surprise cover , but It is use less for me because my connection point at side and SSD can not attached, And when I received the box it was opened, I thought something was stolen.. So let me think about returning
