This is not the best bulb camera that I’ve owned, but the fact that it works with Xfinity internet, it didn’t take more than 5 minutes to set up, and the app doesn’t collect my data is enough to give it 5 stars.Cons: Picture quality isn’t the greatest. The siren/alarm isn’t loud, I want something that will wake my neighbors and scare people away. I’m still trying to figure out the most effective way to view clips/playback, because the app isn’t as user friendly as I would like.Finally, I feel secure using this bulb because it does what I bought it to do.

I will say that the camera picture is great but the camera got stuck and no longer showed my front door. Most importantly, it didn’t provide enough light to use it for lighting the front entry. I ended up unscrewing it and returning to the spot light.

I have been buying these types of cameras for about 3 years but I buy the new ones that pop up on Amazon from time to time. The listed specs of this particular caught my eye, 3K/6MP, I was excited by this because I never came across one with such, most are 3 or 4MP.This camera is a poor 3MP at best even though the app has settings for HD and Ultra HD. Talking about the app, oh good heavens lol. The app is soo poor, no arrow settings to move the camera, no option to view playback from SD card, no option that allows surveillance of a particular area and it lacks other basic features I see on other apps. I did see an option to playback recording in 1x, 4x and 12x where it skips in seconds according to the option chosen. The app is garbage, I am soo serious about that.The camera also fails to detect motion, it did the first time and walked passed the camera, waved me hand in front of the camera and the movement would not register at all. You only get one notification whenever it detects movement and clicking on it just bring you to the homescreen of the app. Other apps take you to atleast the still shot saved by the camera. Motion tracking does not work, seriously it does not work. The flashlight is okay.The packaging the camera comes in is superior to all other cameras I have ever bought. It is really nice and professional. That's the best thing about this camera. Already started the return process, some cameras are bad and you just keep it to catch dust but this one, there is no way I'm letting my 23 bucks slide on this one.Can't wait to get my refund and I think Amazon should stop carrying this camera on their site.

a little disappointed as it sometimes sounds alarm alot when nothing there sending nonstop to phone if all you need is the camera part and can turn off alerts would work well for that

The camera was not going to meet my current needs and after several days I decided to return it. In the meantime Vimtag customer service reached out to me to see how liked the camera and to see if I had any questions. I told them that aftera thorough tryout I decided to return the camera. Right away customer service was on it and said they would get this done for me right away. To be fair I explained all the steps I had taken and tried and decided it just wasn't going to work in my situation. Immediately they explained they were issuing a full refundand never questioned any further. The camera has some great qualities and produces a perfect image and I told them I am definitely going to consider Vimtag products as my current needs change. The 5 stars is for customer service!

Bought this a month ago. Plugged it in once with the AC adapter it comes with to test it and it seemed to work well. Paired with my phone just fine. A the time I didn't have an appropriate lightbulb socket where I wanted to put it, so I unplugged it and returned it to the box.Today I added a lightbulb socket just for this camera, screwed it in, and... nothing happened. Would not turn on. Tried plugging it directly into a known-good wall outlet with the AC adapter, and it still won't turn on. As far as I can tell, the camera is just dead.And since I bought it a month ago, it's not like I can return it. Lame.
