The color looks fairly authentic and then it's downhill from there. Drinking it neat, the initial taste is like grape juice that might aged a bit, but the finish is truly awful like Robitussin but worse. One would be better off taking a favorite whiskey and watering it down a lot to reduce the alcohol by volume. It's understandable that making a faux whiskey that resembles the real thing is difficult, but until someone finds a better recipe, avoid this like the plague.

Wow! Finally an NA whiskey that tastes like whiskey! Hats off to NKD company. I'm "sober currious" i.e. I still drink but cutting way back in my 30s and I love a good bourbon smash, or whiskey sour. I've been able to sub this 1:1 in any whiskey drink. My husband even enjoyed in his egg nog!

I had high hopes for the beverage since we are skipping alcohol due to all the potential health implications. I love an Old Fashion and was hoping this could mimic the taste without the alcohol. The first drink I made was terrible and I thought maybe it was my mix, so I just tried it straight up. It tastes like bad medicine with a nasty aftertaste. It tastes nothing like whiskey or bourbon at all, not even remotely. It's like drinking rubber balloons. I dumped out the rest of the bottle. So disappointed, do not get this if you think it tastes like booze, it tastes like a mistake.

Best NA whiskey i've tasted taste good with no sugar mt dew.. no sugar sprite.. no sugar 7up mixed together. ALL must be chilled in frigde first.. theres a few other NAs that are ok,,

This is a nice non-alcoholic mixture, but it does not get close to tasting like whisky.

If you are like me and developed a little too much of an alcohol habit during the pandemic and you're looking for a substitute, then this is for you. Out of all the alternative drinks I've tried, this one comes the closest to mimicking the aroma and feel of actual whiskey. That being said, you can still readily tell this is NOT whiskey. It has a decent aroma but feels like watered down whiskey to the palette. It has decent taste but none of the "bite" that a real alcohol whiskey has. To some, that may make this stuff feel "dull". That being said, it is important to remember the manufacturer is attempting to come as close as possible to the real thing without getting you wasted. And that is hard to do. For those of you who just want a relaxing drink without the hangover the next day, this product may not be perfect, but it gets the job done.

Does not remotely taste like whiskey. I even tried to make with a Sour and an Old Fashioned. Unpalatable.

I have tried A LOT of other nonalcoholic products and this whiskey is by far the best! As someone who has purchased a lot of similar products I understand what they’re trying to do here and they do a great job. Does it taste exactly like whiskey? No. But it’s meant to mimic the flavors and smells of whiskey for cocktails, and this stuff makes great cocktails. As a non drinker it’s nice to have something that allows me ‘adult’ cocktails when the mood strikes or at social gatherings. If you don’t drink and want to enjoy the ability to have a ‘cocktail’ then give this a try!
