I too ordered this book thinking it was the paperback version of the textbook. It was a complete waste of time and money.

This may be good training for future engineers
The book seems to have a number of typos and paragraphs poorly edited and out of sequence (many textbooks suffer these defects nowadays). The info may be accurate, but kids will be kept on their toes trying to figure out what various passages were intended to convey. This may be good training for future engineers.
