Work well - find shoes that are flat under insole
Work well for recovering from broken foot bone. Tough part is finding shoes that are flat under the insole.

Perfect for mid foot trauma or injuries
I've been using this pair of carbon fiber inserts for about a week and they are helping with my injury. I cannot say what exactly I did, but the "ball" of my left foot was swollen and it hurt to walk. Something similar had happened to my right foot for several years ago and the orthopedist had me use a rigid insert then. At the time, I was charged $50 for the one. But now that I needed a second, I wanted less expensive set and I wanted them to be the same thickness (matched set).Install:Installing these is quick and simple. Take out your insoles, and place the carbon fiber plates in the bottom. Then re-install the insoles.Size:I wear a size 9 US men's from New Balance. I ordered the carbon fiber inserts as a men's 9-9.5. They fit with easy (front to back). These appear to be designed for a M width shoe. As I were a slightly wider shoe, there is a bit of play side to side.Summary:These are helping me and I recommend these for any foot injury.

Excellent stability platform.
The carbon fiber insoles are extremely rigid. I can not bend it, so I questioned how comfortable they might be. They actually provide excellent support when used in conjunction with a high arch support insole for those with flat feet. I place them between insoles and the mid soles of my sneakers and find that they are surprisingly comfortable and help alleviate any soreness through the arch of the foot and do not altar the stride of my gait. Excellent product.

Order closest to your size. I ordered according to instructions to go half size smaller, but it wasn’t offered. I had to go an entire size smaller, which turned out to be too short.
