CarlsonLabs Cod Liver Oil, Low Vitamin A, 230mg Omega-3, 300 Count

I ordered this because I read that too much animal vitamin A is not good for us. This is the cod liver oil that was recommended to me for the lowest vitamin A. Note that vitamin A from plants is not a problem for us in high dosages. It's just when it's from animals that it may cause osteoporosis and other problems. I'm glad to have come across this info and wanted to pass it along. I just ordered the product today and can't comment on anything else about it.Update: Decided to order Carlson's salmon oil since it has more Omega 3 s than their cod liver oil. I'm taking the cod liver oil while waiting for the salmon oil to arrive. Easy to swallow, no bad taste on the capsules and no fish burps yet. I'm also giving this to our dogs as I've read it's good for their fur, skin, arthritis, etc.

When I take Carlson Cod Liver Oil, I feel energized and fresh. My hair, skin, feel great. I feel a there is a significant difference than just buying that regular fish oil at the local supermarket. When I took that Spring Valley, Fish Oil, I practically choked on it because it was difficult to swallow! However, with this Cod Liver Oil, its easy to chew and swallow, and gives off that fresh lemon flavor. And best of all, is that there is low vitamin A, so no worries there!

I buy these for my family and have done so for over a year now. I find the taste bearable, even if taken without the capsule for ease of absorption. I also like the fact that this particular one is low in vitamin A, which can build up and be unhelpful in large doses. I only wish the price would be lower - four and half stars rounded up to five for me.

We are giving this cod liver oil to our son since he was 1 year old, I know its weird, but he just love it, he seen me when I taking them, and just was willing to try, and after that he just fall in love with them, he chewing them like a gum :) If he have a choice to take a candy or this soft gel cod liver oil, he definitely choose the oil. Now, he is 3 years old, and we giving him up to 3 soft gels a day, and what I want to say, this little guy never getting sick, no cold or flu even on the high peak season, and just overall super healthy child. And we are going a lot to the public places and I can see a lot of sick kids around him, but he never catching any bacteria or viruses from the environment. And me and my husband also taking them, and we are also almost never have cold or flu, and I was taking them when I was pregnant, so maybe that gives the strong immune system to my child.

From childhood I've taken Cod Liver Oil, but not until Carlson came along with Lemon in the oil did I ever actually want to swallow the stuff. Then they put it in a gel tablet and that simply cornered the market. Can you imagine taking Cod Liver Oil without having it in your mouth? Well, that's what this is. No oil in you mouth and no fish burp because it is eliminated with the Lemon. Really!So there's no reason to avoid you daily Essential Fatty Acids that contribute to good health. Did you know that all the information you take in each day is carried to your brain on a matrix of oil? That's right, your brain needs fats and oil to do its job, so be good to yourself and get some. Your little gray-cells will thank you.

A great source of vitamin A, D3 and Omega-3. I have been taking it for several months along with a few other supplements and vitamins. My wife told me to try it so I did, and I am pleased with the quality.
