I love it! It chops vegetables like bell peppers, onions, zucchini, cucumbers, etc., really well! Now it doesn't take forever to chop up veggies and I'm in the kitchen less. In fact, I even find it fun to use!So, I initially bought this to help me chop up all the vegetables from my garden that will go into a relish that I'll be canning all summer long. My recipe calls for 10 cups of chopped onions, 15 cups of chopped bell peppers, etc. Before I bought this chopper, I was cutting all the vegetables myself and it was taking me 5 hours to chop them all by hand!! NOT FUN!!SO, I did quite a bit of research on all the choppers out there and settled on this one.(Note: I do have a food processor, but it leaves the veggies too processed and not rough cut enough)This cut my time down SIGNIFICANTLY! AND, it was FUN! That was totally unexpected! But welcome!

Love this product, very sturdy. I wish you didn’t have to unscrew the top plate to remove it.

We went through so many cheap plastic ones, we should have just started here would have saved tons of money!!

I've gone through a few of these things and always am very disappointed. This one, however, has exceded my expectations. Solid and clean cutting everytime. metal frame is very sturdy. I've put a half an onion on it and had no hesitation with it cutting. Whole bell peppers could be cut too, if they're not gigantic. Not that the unit couldn't cut them, but they hang over the sides. Smaller whole peppers like jalapenos, etc. no problem. I've even put entire handfuls of button mushrooms on there and done a bunch at one time. You're only limited to what will fit over the blades. I love the fact that no matter how tough the cut is, there isn't any bending nor hesitation. The plastic ones I've owned in the past either bend, struggle or snap under too much pressure

I've burned through a few of these choppers but this one takes the cake. Metal construction, powerful downward chop - no plastic involved to eliminate breakage. Wife got this for my birthday and I use it all the time. I like that it is versatile and has a number of optional blades for slicking a variety of veggies. Compact and easy to use.

Ok, it is just me. I want to make that clear. I did not like this food chopper because it had too many parts, blades and lots of instructions that would baffle a science major. The plastic parts looked like they might break over time with use but since I sent it back and got a refund I don't know how strong the plastic parts are.
