Small handle, but otherwise nice knife.
This is a nice looking knife, for sure. The finish is nice and the handle is actually nicer looking in person than in the picture. That said, know that the handle is small. I'm not a large guy at ~5'7" and don't have large or meaty hands. The handle on this knife is Just barely large enough for me to use. When they say 4" handle, they're talking absolute tips of the scales. The usable part of the handle is less than 4". It fits my 5'2" female friend's hand fine. The cutting edge on the blade is 4". Mine came very dull. As in, I can confidently run my finger down the length of the blade and not worry about cutting myself. Though as someone who actually uses and expects to have to sharpen their knives sometimes, I don't mind too much. The sheath also doesn't fit the knife snugly. If you were to carry this knife horizontal, you'd lose your knife in no time. It should be fine for vertical carry. It's a nice sheath. It just doesn't fit the knife tightly enough to hold it in the sheath. Basically, this knife is really close to being awesome if you don't mind sharpening it, but falls short on the handle(no pun intended).

Great knife, small handle.
Just received the knife so I can't speak much to durability, however. It seems to have been constructed well. I'm assuming they've corrected the sheath snuggness issue that others have. Mine fits snug and I have no concerns of it coming out yet. The issue of the small handle is very real. The handle is almost too small for me to be comfortable with wielding. The blade came sharp enough to use. I doubt it'll cut paper finely, but it's still usable. I love the thickness of the blade. Overall, I am pleased with the knife. But would probably look at a different one for edc based on the handle alone.

Probably the best value in manly knives out there
This GCS knife is an amazing value. I am glad I saw them pop up in "others also viewed" or an Amazon suggestion. I have never heard of them in the typical knife forums or anything, so I probably would have missed out. After buying this one, I'll definitely be buying more of their products.I've got a friggin insane knife collection, like most knife nuts. Bark River, TOPS, ESEE, Fallkniven, Great Eastern Cutlery, Benchmade, SOG,Mora, KA-BAR, etc. This knife truly feels right at home amongst the rest.Pros:D2 steel (if it really is)Fit and finish comparable to Bark River, TOPS, ESEE, etc.Sheath seems exceptionally durable.Comes very sharp.Exceptional value.Cons:Blade is a bit thick-ish. For most intents, 1/4" is a bloomin' crowbar! Not 100% sure where it's actually made. A big deal for those of us who like to vote with our dollars.Suggestion to the manufacturer -- make the handle 10 mm longer!Giving it 5 stars unless it breaks/chips etc. I'll come back and edit the review if anything like that happens.

Overall I like the knife. Not real happy about how the knife is secured in the sheath. Does not feel secure. Other than that I think it's a good knife.
