I have a Dell desktop PC, purchased in 2018. For whatever reason, it will NOT update to windows 11 (even though all tests say that it is compatible). Actually, the update goes though, but with NO wifi access. After some research I discovered that it is due to the built-in wifi adapter. I downloaded updated drivers, tried to install them after the update, but nothing worked. Not a huge deal, I just rolled back to windows 10. However, it just kept bugging me, so I did some hunting and found this device! Problem solved!! I am now on windows 11 WITH WIFI! My goofy virus protector kept trying to block the install, but once I figured that out, it was smooth sailing! Easy installation, works exactly like it is supposed to!

I've only had this for a few hours, but so far it has worked great! Had to download drivers from the Internet since the mini-DVD disc wasn't readable on my drive for some reason. Installation was easy and able to connect to my WiFi 6E router. Performance was excellent in the range of 80 - 90 MB/s (megabytes not megabits). Will update if things change, but so far a great buy.

It works great. Lot of products out there don't require drivers this did. TP link under investigation by US state dept for national security issues (Chinese company sending data shoreside) Overall I needed something just to connect my already ethernet connected PC to a failsafe in my network. Adapter works; connects, and windows auto routes to it when I unplug my ethernet.

My old adapter stopped working so I saw this one I have a TP-link router so I thought I would give it a try. It works great only had to download the latest drivers to get it working. So note that before you try to install it as you won't have internet to download them while installing.

This product is not effective. I purchased this to supplement my TP-Link deco router. I am in direct line with the router (about 10' away) and the adapter constantly looses connection and always downgrades from wifi 6 to wifi 4 with no reason. I reset the adapter and it starts out great with good signal. within about 10 mins it drops to the lower speed. I have gone back to my built in adapter which runs constantly at wifi 5. I talked with support and they were of no help telling me it is a cable issue on the router etc. NOT WORTH the money - even when it is on sale. I am regretting my upgrade to the TP-Link router as well.

I've been having internet reliability issues with my current PC that has a built in wireless card. This didn't used to be a problem but has turned into one. After testing my latency and packet loss, I deemed it unacceptable so I needed to find another solution. The TP-Link WiFi 6E is probably one of the best bang for the buck USB wifi adapters. The strength of the WiFi connection is much better. I ran an internet stability test for a couple hours and it came back much improved. I think this is a great option for those looking to improve their WiFi connection and speed.

One major drawback of this device is the lack of clear instructions for downloading and installing the firmware. It would be highly beneficial to include a QR code or a simpler method to access the software. Additionally, the device performs best when the internal Wi-Fi system is disabled. If not disabled, the system struggles to determine which Wi-Fi network to use, leading to poor performance due to the confusion between the two available Wi-Fi options.
