Superior customer service
I just now used this bit...or rather tried to. Upon first runup at a low rpm as I usually do with a large diameter bit I noticed a significant vibration. Thinking it was instillation error I removed the bit and collar and throughly cleaned the entire rotating assembly including the threads on the router(Bosch).Reinstallation and subsequent runup produced the same results. The vibration is bad at lowest speed and even with the top bearing removed it's still present. My fault for not checking the bit when I I received it so now its absolutely useless as my return time has long gone.UPDATE: Distributor contacted me within an hour of my inquiry and offered a full refund. This is superb customer service and I have reordered another bit with 100% confidence!!

Good bit - low quality bearing. Not unexpected for the price.
The bit cut pretty well, had a little tearout until I remembered to run the router backward first (climb cut) and then do a cleanup pass. The bit is pretty good but the bearing is not that great. Probably won't last as long as the bit but that's not unusual. If you use router bits much you should keep spare bearings around anyway.

Is ok
The bit IS as described but the washer leaves a line. This is the second of the exact same bit I bought but the other I gave away and haven't heard a complaint.

So Dull it couldn't even make it's first cut
I was so excited to use this bit, but I have to force the router into the wood. It's regular birch plywood with some veneer on the top and this bit is burning the wood more than it is cutting. I couldn't even get it an inch in. I tried a few different router speeds but it didn't matter. I rarely leave bad reviews but I thought this one was important. Maybe I just got a dull one. I also got the 1" version and it cut better.

Good value imo.
Works well.

Bit looks good.
I haven't used the 1" but should be a good buy.I used the 3/4" bit that cut smooths and clean. From same order. I would buy product again.

Not very good - you get what you pay for
I didn't have high expectations, but was hoping next-day shipping would get me going for the one cut I needed this router bit for. Someone else noted that the bearing was very poor quality, but knowing that - and knowing that I had a set of high quality bearings already - I took a chance that I could make it work.Well, sure enough, the bearing was very sloppy and loose. When I took it off to put on a quality bearing, it fell apart in my hand (see pic).Well after putting a proper bearing on the bit and mounting it in my 3-1/2 HP router, and realizing this was a large bit so starting at a relatively slow speed, the bit immediately showed a lot of vibration, I tried different routers and different speeds as well as other bits and came to the realization that the bit is just junk all around and not balanced.Don't waste your money. I gave this two stars so that maybe people who throw out the top and bottom ratings will see this and beware.
