Fun addition to one of my fave brands. Not super necessary but a nice option for us edc/knife nerds. The spidey hole is smaller now,so that's something to consider. Thumb deployment via the hole is slightly trickier.Otherwise, thingie works just as well as you'd expect if youve ever used a wave.. While the hole is still easy to use when I've got work gloves on, maybe this option would be good for those wearing gloves often.Construction is fantastic. Fits well, although the thing will slip back if you don't tighten it enough- see pics. Frankly I didn't have a problem with it canted forward or more back. If you wiggle it while you're screwing it on it will tighten right up, just give it a final twist when you get it finger tight in the can't that you'd like. Nice to have the option of placement of the claw.

First things first, it works phenomenally well, and it's better than nothing. And if you can't find anything else, it's certainly worth buying, and it's certainly a lot more durable than the plastic snaggletooth product or the zip tie trick.Notable criticisms:I have the endura 4. For those that don't know, the endura 4 actually has a thicker blade style and a thinner blade style. I have the thicker blade style, and I still had to screw this product down to where i'm placing a lot of stress on the aluminum in order to get it to grip my blade tightly.The texturing on the one side is unnecessary. They should have left it smooth. It doesn't really add any grip. The crenulations of the ring, if that's the right word, are pretty rough. I can move over them with some sandpaper and smooth it out. And makes this whole thing a bit nicer. But for what you're paying, it's not so bad.I assume this is made to fit more than one model. Because the hook has some wiggle room back and forth on my endura. I really had to crank down to get this thing nice and tight so much that the male portion with its threads comes through the other side if the hole and there is a tactile ridge you can feel.In short, have a little bit of sandpaper, and some scotch bright to smooth this thing out and you can make this a 4 star product. And for low volume cnc machined aluminum for a niche product like this, the price is extremely good.

I purchased this for my spiderco Rockjumper. Now disclaimer, few of these openers are listed to fit the rockjumper and others I'd purchased did not fit well but this one fits pretty tight and works well. I am super happy with this product. As a side note the rockjumper is really one of the best spiderco knives out there...especially for the price and for those who love a warncliffe style blade.

Did not fit my spyderco. when installed it would not let the blade closed all the way. very hazardous.

The media could not be loaded. They work perfect for my Spyderco Endura, installation was easy and it fit perfect! and even though other reviews say it mine hasn't gotten loose at all and I have used it a bunch. Definitely a good alternative to an Emerson open.

Tried this on a para 2, para 3, Manix 2 (yes I know it’s specifically listed to not fit), military, military 2, centofontane, Silverax, canis, Watu, catcherman, shaman, siren, delica, and spyopera and the only one it fit correctly in was the spyopera. It physically fits in the para 2, para 3, Manix 2, delica, military, and military 2 but is so loose fitting even tightened all the way down that the hook on the Emerson jiggles around and is useless.Fantastic concept for an Emerson on a spyderco but terrible execution, needs to be redesigned to fit properly on the knives it was designed for.Kinda nice it fits the spyopera, gives a wave feature to a smaller spyderco.

These work great wpuld be even better if we got alluminum or metal...

Read it's description and believe it, if it says it's only good for certain sizes/models of Spyderco guess what...I thought I knew better & could rig something up, but guess what 😂
