LOVE IT! Great for Weather Apps Too
I'll update this review if I have any issues with it but so far I LOVE this watch. Tried the Amazfit Balance which is in the same price range but it just wasn't for me. I'm a weather nerd and the Amazfit Weather app is trash and inaccurate. Being that this has Google Play Store access, I can put all my favorite weather apps on here including Radarscope with ease. From a build quality standpoint it definitely looks and feels premium. I was a little skeptical but now that I have it, it does not disappoint.Mobvoi doesn't advertise how many nits the AMOLED screen is so that kind of worried me but I assure you it is extremely bright and sharp looking. I was able to see it outside in the sun with no problem at all. Comparing it to the Amazfit Balance screen (which is 1500 nits) this one is just as bright as that, maybe even the slightest bit brighter. You won't be disappointed with the screen. The only knock so far that I have to give it is that it's on Wear OS 4 instead of 5, so there's no Google Voice Assistant (might be a work around though, not sure yet) but the good aspects of this thing far outweigh the bad.I spent all day researching watches in this range and this one checks pretty much all the boxes for me.

Beautiful and Functional
This is the best smart watch I've ever owned, and it cost about half the price of my last "flagship" watch. The watch design is very attractive and stylish. The metal bezel and nylon/carbon fiber case are sturdy and the fit is of high precision. The screen is sapphire crystal. It shipped with WearOS 3.5 but in the short time I've had it, it has updated three times and is now running v 4.0. The watch face, at 1.43", is huge which makes content very readable but it doesn't look overly big on my wrist. Some reviews characterized it as very heavy, but at ~75 g with the band, it is less than half the weight of my Seiko Coutura Solar which weighs in at almost 164 g. Operation is intuitive and smooth using the single side button/rotating crown combination coupled with the touch screen. I love the dual display system which has a default low resolution display providing most essential information with a miserly use of power. A great feature of the lo-res display is the ability to set the background color, and it also cycles through a range of heart rate zone backlight colors to provide heart rate at a glance during exercise. The second, full color OLED display is high resolution, exceptionally clear, beautiful, and bright. The Snapdragon® W5+ Gen 1 wearable platform is lightning fast and smooth. Screen swiping is highly responsive, butter smooth with no lag or jerkiness. It has plenty of memory with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. It can use both Bluetooth and WiFi. The feature set is exceptional for the price and the health monitoring apps I've used so far are accurate according to my comparison to dedicated monitors. The only thing missing is blood pressure monitoring. Body temperature monitoring, while not displayed to the watch face, shows up on the sleep monitoring card on the phone app. It also has accurate GPS with the ability to track via multiple satellite navigation services, plus compass, altimeter, and barometric pressure sensing. It can make and receive calls and messages, and stream music when linked to the phone. The speaker is clear, the volume good, and the sound quality is not tinny. It has a wide range of exercise apps (over 110). I haven't tried these yet, because I'm still evaluating phone companion apps for weight lifting. WearOS provides access to the Google Play apps catalog including Google Maps, Google Wallet, and myriads of custom watch faces. The 628 mAh battery is huge. I've only had to top it up once since receiving it. Charging is ultra fast. It has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, but even so, I'm not chancing wearing it in the shower! It has an Essential mode which maintains basic function at extremely low power during sleep, low battery charge (5%), or when the watch is removed from the wrist for over 30 minutes. Another great feature is a security PIN. The watch automatically detects body contact and requires PIN entry to access watch features when it is put back on.I have only scratched the surface of what this watch is capable of. It has a limited quick start manual, but a full 74 page PDF manual is available for download. I highly recommend this watch, and believe it to be the equal of any smart watch out there. If you are considering the Ticwatch Pro 5, I recommend that you spend the extra thirty bucks or so for the Pro 5 Enduro. There are several important changes and upgrades under the hood but the sapphire crystal screen alone is worth it.

Great watch and alternative to others
It’s a product of Mobvoi, a company known for its innovative approach to wearable technology. This review will delve into the design, performance, and unique aspects of the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro.DesignThe TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is slimmer than its predecessor, the TicWatch Pro 5. However, the difference is just 0.25mm, which is almost impossible to notice. The case size remains the same at 48mm wide. The watch is only available in one size, so if you prefer smaller watches, this might not be the one for you.The major update in the design is the addition of sapphire crystal over the 1.43 OLED screen instead of Gorilla Glass. This addition, along with the MIL-STD-810H toughness certification and 5 ATM water resistance rating, increases the durability of the watch. The case is made from aluminum with a fiberglass case back.PerformanceThe TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 12. It repeats what was great about the TicWatch Pro 5, with only a few small changes. Despite the minimal changes, it manages to still be fresh on a technical level one year after its predecessor. The battery life of the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is unrivaled. The dual-screen design gives you the best battery life of any Wear OS smartwatch IMO, including Samsung's Galaxy watches along with Apple watches. This is a significant advantage for users who don’t want to charge their watch every day. However, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro does not come with Wear OS 4 as of this writing it only has Wear OS 3.5. This might be a downside for some users who were expecting the latest operating system in their new smartwatch.FeaturesThe TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro comes with a clever dual-screen system. It's very useful, usually you are able to view your watch regardless of the lighting that you are in at the moment. Certain third-party apps can integrate with the Ultra-low-power Display. This feature allows the watch to display essential information without draining the battery. One of the cons of the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is its subscription-based health tracking. Another con is the fact that you are unable to have multiple watches that you can switch out based on your actives for the day. The Mobvoi app is not able to function with Google Wear OS app. While some users might find this feature useful, others might see it as an unnecessary expense.- While listening to music the UI that you use to change between tracks along with using the crown to increase and decrease volume with the spin- Riding on a motorcycle being able to look at the display without removing hands because of the display you can read it in any lighting- Great companion for hiking, running, any exercise in general- I wish the bezel was able to control the watch functions, it does not moveConclusionThe TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is a great smartwatch with a catch. It’s an iterative update in the truest sense. While it mostly looks the same and has many of the same features as its predecessor, the better battery life, better performance, and stronger build make it a better choice for those interested in buying a new smartwatch. However, all of the changes to the Pro 5 Enduro are purely cosmetic. If you already have last year’s model, you might not find the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro as a necessity for an upgrade. In conclusion, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is a solid smartwatch that does a lot well. It’s still a great watch to consider, especially for Android users. However, a few flaws hold it back from being something special and taking Mobvoi to conversations involving the main hitters of the smartwatch realm.
