Just what I was looking for
After 24 years Army service I was starting to get tinnitus and sensitive ears especially after a days work in a primary school! I needed some thing that would decrease the volume but still allow me to hear conversation. These Loop Engage buds are amazing allowing me to still hear but keeping the high volumes out.I got the see through ones as I didn’t want the children to take too much notice of them. The fit is great. I struggle with keeping ear buds in my small ears but the loop design works very well and they stay put all day.Like everything you need to get used to them and they do get more supple after a while and don’t hurt my ears at all even after a full day of wearing them.I wore them to a loud theatre show today and they were good but I think I would need the experience buds for concerts.A bit expensive but sometimes you have to pay for quality.

Works very well for me
Easy to use, great carry case, variety of different sizes to use for a better fit to your ear canal. Never had one fall out, good quality brand and make. Easy to clean and I haven’t slept in them. Just use for when it gets too loud in the room, I can hear people I’m talking to very well it deadens all other noise.

Takes the edge off noise
£30 feels like a bit much for these but they are a nice little product. Don't expect major noise reduction compared to heavy-duty concert earplugs (you can still hear nearby sounds, and I could hear people talking to me with no issues) but they do "take the edge off" a bit and and make me feel a bit calmer in loud areas. They are also excellent for minimal occlusion effect - my own voice does sound a bit louder but sounds are generally clear, I don't get the "muffled" effect, I could even eat food without feeling like the sounds of my own mouth were intolerably loud. They look discreet (I have lemon-lime green colour) and lie quite flat in my ears although the hard plastic "loop" was making one of my ears a bit sore after extended use. The case is a slim flat disc, quite small, and seems pretty sturdy - I tried dropping it from about a metre high and it did not open. The earbuds clip nicely into the case and it's easy to take them out / put them back without feeling like you're going to drop them. I did just put them in my pocket rather than clipping to my keys though, because (ironically since these are aimed at noise sensitivities) the plastic case makes an annoying clicking noise when it moves against metal keys.

Loop iridescent is back!!! (Just get it!!)
The media could not be loaded. The colour is sooo beautiful, they were limited edition so I’m glad they bought them back! The earplugs themselves are functional and block out background noise while I can hear those close to me. I use size xs which fit snug in my ear, I love the case to makes it easy to carry your loops. Pretty case for pretty earplugs haha.I say get this colour option before it’s gone! You won’t regret it for sure. Worth the price since they bought back a limited edition line!

perfect for anybody who is neurodivergent
i got a pair of loops when they first sort of became a thing. the difference between these and the first pair i had is huge, and i’d definitely recommend buying this pair if you also have an outdated pair of them. i’ve written a list of points about this version!firstly, the case and quality of the loops are so much better. the case actually holds the loops now rather than just chucking them in loosely.secondly, the case doesn’t just fall open after a while of use like my old ones did when they were attached to my sunflower lanyard.my next point is that the size of the actual loops and the size of the ear tips is SO much better to fit your ears. they actually sit in your ears now and you can easily find the right size. they are wearable for sleep as they don’t just fall out like the old versions.finally, the noise reduction is perfect. you don’t need to push them all the way into your ears and sound like you’re underwater anymore. when you find the right size ear tip, they sit perfectly to block out enough sound to still be able to hear but to continue on with your day comfortably at a reduced noise level.i cannot express how brilliant these are, especially for adults as well as children, which isn’t easy to find. these are perfect for anybody who is sound sensitive. although the price seems expensive, there are pros that outweigh any cons you might see or feel.

Loop 2 has improved but it wasn’t good enough for me still
I wear noise cancelling headphones but they are clunky and I wanted something that would allow me to look more normal and wear earrings, etc. When I tried the Loop 1 several years ago, they did not work for me - the stem was too thick and it caused ear pain. I needed to see a doctor after a few days of using them. My right ear never fully recovered tbh. When I heard that Loop 2 is softer and has a smaller stem, I was excited to give them a try. I went for iridescent version.Very pretty but unfortunately didn’t do it for me.They take the edge off without blocking the sounds but I don’t see the point. Sounds are still muffled and it distorts the way I hear my own voice so I end up speaking really loud. It makes socialising really awkward. If I wanted to take the edge off but still have clarity, I would much rather go for flares with 15db filter. At least they offer air circulation to prevent ear problems and sound reduction without muffling.
