The tower is very well built and came with everything needed to get started except seeds and water. Five weeks after delivery, the photo shows cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce & basil growing. The string trellis is a home project but the tower is rugged enough to support it without a problem. The vendor was also responsive and helpful via email.

Works as advertised, just watch out for algae growth.

They give you everything you need to get started, except the seeds and the water. Instructions could be a little more detailed, but when I called the seller (sellers?) he walked me through it. The timers were alien to me, but once it’s explained, it makes sense. The company is very responsive. I chose this brand because of a combination of perceived quality and price. I’ve not been disappointed. A decent grow tower is going to be expensive nowadays, but I don’t trust those cheap ones. I got my Alto tower off their website because they offered a $50 discount. My tower came with the lights, and—they send a small set of extra lights and a tray to start seeds in. I love mine. Oh! And the plants are growing well. I did put mine by a window, so it gets even more light.
