Spades with a Twist
This card game is similar to spades, but it has a twist. You don't get to see your cards. You know what your highest card is and your lowest card is, but you can't be certain about the cards are in between.Basically, you put your opponent's cards in order from highest to lowest. Then they fan them out face down in front of them.Just like spades, you get a point for each trick. You can also get 5 bonus points if you make your bid. To bid, you pick two adjacent cards from your hand and look at them. One of those has to be your bid.Part of the fun of this game is deducing what cards you have and others have. If you are good at counting cards or dominos, then you would excel at this game.If you like the idea of a variation of spades, then you would enjoy this game.

Brand new concept, fast pace, lots of fun
Completely different card game, lots of fun to play because it moves really fast. It's more fun with people who are familiar with music, people who have never played or sung don't grasp the music bit as quickly. Great game for a small gathering of adults.

Fun Trick Taking Game with a Twist
While this game has a unique theme to it, ultimately it is a trick taking game similar to Spades or Hearts. There are different "suits" in the type of notes with varying values and numbers. The twist is that you don't know exactly what your cards are, you only know the relative value to the cards around it.Overall it is a fun game that is fairly quick once you get the hang of it. It requires you to really think and remember what you have played and what others have played. While the theme is not really necessary for the game play, it does make it a little more interesting and relatable with music.

Unique trick taking game
If you like variation on trick taking games, this may be right up your alley. This involves a bit more deduction and strategy than your typical game of hearts or spades, where you don't know exactly what your cards are other than it's relative value to the rest of your deck. This makes things a bit more exciting and random. It's easy to learn and quick to play, though you need a large space to lay out all your cards. Definitely worth having as part of my collection.

Fun and Fast Paced
Just as described, this is a fast paced and quick to play game. The age recommendation of 15+ is ok, but I believe some younger kids would actually enjoy and even benefit from the memorization and effort involved. As an adult, I find it a fun challenge and like that it’s a quick game (although, I’m not one for extended play games).

Fun, fast-paced and easy to learn. Great for game nights!
This 'Xylotar' card game is designed quite uniquely, and is easy to learn. This is a fun game to play, whether for group settings or for smaller settings (like family game nights); can be played with 2-5 players, and goes pretty quickly. Most games last about 20-30 mins, at least in my experiences thus far. Also I like that these are nicely made cards, and come with a sturdy box for safe keeping. This is an interesting fast-paced game that will have you using your mind and having fun. I think it's a nice value, and is also very giftable as well!
