The surface of this product is smooth and it is a low-friction surface. However, if you actually want to use this item for making "feet" for computer mice, then that will not work. That is because the Teflon material listed here is thicker than the low-friction "feet" of computer mice, whereas the laser beam of the mouse has to originate from a very specific height above the work surface in order to work properly.

Interesting idea. It would definitely be low friction, especially if your mouse also has the little teflon pads on the bottom. But if it's a ball mouse, I think the ball might slip on this surface, for obvious reasons. And if it's an optical (laser) mouse, this surface might be too plain and slightly reflective. So I don't think either technology would track well.

Q: Will cement glue stick to this?

The backside (that is the beige-colored side with print on it) of this product is strong adhesive that you can expose by peeling off the beige-colored liner. Thus, to glue that side to something else you don't need any other glue or cement. The front side, that is, the light-gray side, is Teflon. Cement or glue will not stick well to it, indeed, hardly anything sticks well to it. That is why most customers buy this product.
