It is most important to use them at least twice a day.
I use this product for cleaning between my teeth and massaging my gums. They are much thinner than other makes of yellow interstertial brushes but they work very well.

Gets into the gaps
My dentist told me to use these rather than floss. They are easy to use as they bend around corners and certainly pick up the stuff my brush won't reach. You may need different sizes if you have different size gaps like me.
