Bought as a gift
Purchased for a Christmas gift for my brother who’s a mechanic and he said he loves it.

Nice little device. Worked perfectly and it was very easy to use!
My wife just bought a brand new car, and 30 days later, the check engine light came on, and because of her busy work schedule, she was not able to take the time off to take it to a local dealership. And she was all worried about driving it with the check engine light on. So, I ordered this on Amazon, followed the instructions, hooked it up to the OBD port under the dash, scanned for the codes. Only one code showed up. I searched that code online, and found the problem! Lose gas cap (she had just filled it up that day!) This little device saved me the time, trouble (and probably the embarrassment) of having to take this car back to the dealer, and wait and wait for them to look at it, (and probably charge me for doing that) all because of a lose gas cap. Well worth the investment into this. Its easy to use, very nice screens which are easy to follow, and allows you to clear the codes once the problem is diagnosed and corrected.

Great Christmas gift for my husband. He is always working on vehicles and he never had one when needed, very good screen, easy to read and easy to use.

Good OBD scanner for permanent obd codes
This does the job. It can read Stored/Pending/Permanent Codes. Please pay attention not all scanner can read permanent codes. For the price there is no complaint. The screen is also colored even though it's not necessarily I can't testify other functionalities since my goal is to permanent codes on my Land Rover. My $$$ Autel can't do it.

this is by far a great deal, you do not have to spend hundreds, this tester does what most of the ones costing hundreds do!
