Locking Hinges are such a game changer!
I used these hinges to support a piece of plywood in my SUV camper conversion. I built a bed platform that I wanted to be able to disassemble and remove easily. I'm happy with these locking hinges because I don't have to worry about the legs to my bed moving around while I'm shifting in my sleep. When you first get the hinges, they're really stiff, hard to open and close. Don't worry! once you attach them to your project they work perfectly. Easy to open, but they have enough resistance to hold the weight of the leg while in stored position. You can also use these hinges in the opposite direction if you want the hinge to lock while stored. Great hinge!

A Solid Hinge
Bought these to be utilized on a craft table I'm building, and wanted something that would allow me to fold the legs up when I needed to get it out of the way for a spell. They operate smoothly, have a convincing "locking point", easy to fold back up. My only negative is the supplied screws. I will be hitting the hardware store for longer ones to ensure I have sufficient purchase into the legs and top.

Sturdy and easy to install
These brackets are not as difficult to open as people suggest. They are sturdy and well constructed. I used two for a folding shelf on a floating nightstand I made for a guest bedroom. The screws were a tad too long for the 3/4" board I was using so I used smaller wood screws I had in my shop. They are very easy to fold and open once on. I have complete confidence the shelf will not collapse when a tablet or phone is place on it

Solid product. Would be nice if the screws sit flush.
This product was exactly what I was looking for to use in my laundry folding cart project. Originally I was considering using a hinge/brace similar to what they use on A-frame ladders and found this. Setup and use is straight forward. The only complaint I have is the fact the hinge holes where the screws are used are cut without a countersink so the screw heads sit above the hinge. Other than that I have no complaints. As mentioned in the instructions make sure to understand the hinge will feel nearly impossible to open/close when not installed and zero leverage to move the hinge. I’ve included a short video to display how easy it is to close.

Does NOT Lock In Folded Up Position
Decided to buy these, despite conflicting reviews that they did/did not lock in folded position because I needed something immediately and they seemed the best option.. Initially happy when they arrived because they definitely have functioning lock detents in both extended and folded position. When installing, I discovered that the angle to engage the folded locking detent was so acute that only a leg of 6 inches or less would allow the locking mechanism to engage. Design error or manufacturing error - who knows. They were easy to install, seem sturdy, and had no problem reaching and sinking all the screws. I solved the locking issue when folded with magnets screwed into the legs and corresponding washers screwed into the table bottom.

Surprisingly thick for pricepoint
When ordering these, for the price that they cost, I thought they would be pretty thin and flimsy. The opposite is true. The thickness of the metal is almost 1/8” (see photo) and they feel bulletproof. The axles of the locking mechanism are solid, no slack at all. I even had to oil them because they are rigid and stiff (a good thing). Yeah, these are great, buy them.

Perfect solution for fold-out desk or table.
I used one of these (from set) to hold a single leg below a fold-up desk surface. The surface is hinged on one end, and I needed a sturdy product to hold a leg that would not accidentally be bumped or kicked and allow the desk surface to fall. This product was perfect. I installed it to lock when the leg is in use. The mechanism seems to have enough friction or tightness that the leg stays in the "folded" position well also.

Works Well
These are sturdy and well built. They worked well for my fold down work bench. As a novice DIYer I would have liked the instructions to be a little clearer, perhaps an "A" and "B" stamped on each side to make it easier to determine which side goes on the table, and which side on the leg.

This is a well engineered product and works beautifully on my drop leaf cutting board. Its really a perfect product for folding tables and legs, it gives a firm lock on extension and is easy to release.

Tres bon produit.
