DT200LT Digital Astronomic Landscape Timer - Precision Control for Outdoor and Indoor Lighting - Easy to Operate Timer for Landscape Lighting & Christmas Lights

I purchased two Intermatic Digital Landscape Timers , one to control the front porch lights and one to control the rear deck lighting. These can be programmed right out of the box after pulling out the battery tab in the back. To program, set time, date, location (by state), time zone, and when to turn lights on and off. Options are: On and off at dusk/dawn (adjustable in +- 15 minute offsets), on and off by clock time, or any combination of both. We wanted both units to turn on 30 minutes before dusk, and turn off at 11 pm. Dusk/dawn times automatically adjust with the days. So far, they have worked flawlessly.

This is my third timer. Intermatic digital astronomical time I've purchased for landscape lighting. All worked out great. Love the settings. The only thing is the Sunset, sunrise setting,lights come on too early, go off too late so I always use the Dawn dusk offset timing, dusk plus +15. Dawn -15 which works out great for my area SE Arizona.

This does what it is supposed to do and is relatively easy to program. I like the fact that it automatically adjusts to the time of day and to daylight savings time. So I am very happy with this purchase.
