Q: How to use the green part of the item?

Hello, unfortunately my pocket is behind the very last tooth, top teeth, left side, and I couldn't see properly in order to reach it. I'm sorry, I don't know.Plus, the "filter" was defected, so I wasn't anyway able to use it.What helped me A LOT and solved the problem, keeping clean the pocket and geetting rid of the smell, is Waterpik Poket Irrigator.It is impotant that it has to be equipped with a specific pocket tip:https://www.waterpik.com/oral-health/tips-accessories/PP-100E/Waterpik® Pik Pocket TipsThe waterpik waterflosser "ULTRA" includes one of of these tips in the box.I put demineralized water (either distilled or reverse osmosis) in the little tank, and add a little bit of 3% hydrogen peroxide (additives free: which means just water and hydrogen peroxide in the ingredient lists.... while some brands add other additives).Hope this helps.Happy NEw Year!

Q: Would you sell just the flexible tips ? Or even the dark blue tips separately?

I feel the most items are useless as well. I only use the blue tiny top. But I have to say the deep clean top is so good, it worth it even that's the only part I used

Q: Is the tip made of pliable rubber? I'm looking for something better than the metal syringe (non-pointy) I use now as its been making my tonsils bleed.

I would characterize the tip as a rigid plastic with limited pliability. It's soft enough not to make my gums bleed with accidental contact, but I personally would not it to come in direct contact with tender tissue such as tonsils. If you plan on using it to remove tonsil stones, I would check with dentist as to the advisability of that.
