I recently bought the Portronics Toad One mouse for ₹635, and overall, it’s a good wireless mouse for the price. It comes with both USB and Bluetooth connectivity, which is really useful if you want to switch between laptop and tablet easily.The mouse looks premium at first glance, but when you use it, it doesn’t really feel that premium in hand. The buttons are fully clicky, which I like, but they feel a bit loose or shaky, so it doesn’t feel very solid.There is a DPI setting to control the speed of the cursor. Very good mouse in its price range, I will charge it once in every 3 days and my use of mouse is very. I recommend this mouse because it fits perfectly in hand and very comfortable to use.

I regret purchasing this mouse from Portronics. At first, it worked fine, but within a few months, the left-click button stopped functioning properly. I expected better durability from a brand like this, but unfortunately, the product’s quality is subpar.What’s worse is their warranty process. Since the product is still under the one-year warranty, I reached out to their customer service, hoping for a simple resolution. Instead, I was told to:Write a detailed note about the issue on paper.Pack the product securely.Courier it at my own expense to their service center.There’s no pickup service, and they outright mention that courier charges are non-refundable. This warranty process is incredibly inconvenient and outdated, putting all the burden on the customer.If that’s not frustrating enough, they also stated that physical damage won’t be covered under the warranty, which makes me wonder if they’d claim some excuse to avoid repairs or replacement.For a product that couldn’t last even a year, and a warranty process that’s more trouble than it’s worth, I wouldn’t recommend this mouse to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and invest in a brand that values its customers and offers better quality and service.
