Best shoe care product on the market
Saphir makes the best shoe care products. Really, there's not much more to add but I'll do that anyway.Saphir produces several types of shoe care products and it's important to understand the differences to avoid confusion. First is your 'shoe cream' (that we have here), then you have your 'wax polish' and then the 'renovator shoe cream/lotion'. The shoe cream generally adds some colour and keeps the leather supple, the wax polish is for the shine and the renovator is used to clean, hydrate and to keep the leather supple. The shoe cream is the product that most people will use most frequently, and this is my go-to product when it comes to maintaining my shoes. I guess my second-most used product is the renovator that moisturizes the leather deeper and keeps it from cracking. The other thing that needs clarification is that Saphir makes two different products ranges; this one, which is called "Creme Surfine", and a second more premium (and costly) product called "Medaille d'Or". For the shoe cream (this product), I honestly don't see any significant difference between the two products, maybe that the premium product feels a bit richer in colour pigment but I can't really point to any difference of significance. This range (creme surfine) also offer more colour options so I tend to primarily buy this but I use both products. You will also find these two product ranges offer wax polish as well, but in this case I do think that the 'Medaille d'Or' products are superior and provides a better finish. Yes Saphir is costlier than other brands such as 'Kiwi' but both your shoes and your wallet will thank you. Once you start using this you'll see that there's more to shoe polish than just the polish. In any case, Saphir makes the best shoe care products and perhaps I should have left it at that.

I hand't realised how thirsty my shoes were
I have been a user of KIWI since I began polishing my own shoes as a child. It's always been the 'go to' Polish. But when I used a SAPHIR polish for bulling-up my shoes, I hadn't realised how good other shoe polishers could be. It isn't as WAXY or TURPEN-TINY (clearly not a real word) as KIWI.When I used this cream on some other shoes, I could almost hear them gulping. I realised that putting WAX on shoes is okay, but that wax can dry hard and it causes weaknesses in the leather and then crack - which had happened to me, or rather, it happened to my shoes ... as I have been cracked for a long time.Shoes need feeding as well as looking shiny. Saphir also uses other oils rather than just all wax. So my shoes are more supple but also shine. And the 'wax polish' they sell for 'bulling up' takes less time and energy than KIWI.

KNOW YOUR SHOES....and what they like and deserve!!
Hello,I have an unhealthy collection of shoes and use the best, in my opinion, products. That doesn't mean the most expensive but you wouldn't clean an upmarket car with washing up liquid!! Occasionally I use KIWI Parade Gloss Prestige.Saphir I have used for a long time and know it well. Always use these kind of products sparingly and you will be rewarded.I MAY BE stating the obvious but NOT USE clear polishes repeatedly on coloured shoes since it will remove the dye over time.I hope this has been of some help and if in doubt there are some very good You Tube videos on how to clean shoes " properly ".THIS IS NOT A PAID REVIEW!!

Super bright
After researching how to get white leather trainers looking new again I ran into this product. After cleaning the trainer use this to brighten up the leather and stitching, also cover darker scuffs.

Great quality product.
Feels very light and liquid on the finger or cloth, so a little goes a long way. The colour out of the jar is very dark, but can be used on a range of browns at the darker end of the scale. I used this polish to restore an old pair of Russell and Bromley Chelsea boots. It's worked well to my eye. Try to use with a decent quality cloth and brush for good results.

Definitely worth changing to Saphir
I'd always been someone who covered shoes in Kiwi wax and buffed until they shined until I was introduced to the Saphir range. I now remove the old wax, nourish the leather with a little conditioner and then use this shoe cream. It also helps condition the leather and refreshes the colour. Once it dries it buffs to a nice shine then you can use a small amount of their wax to increase the shine if you want and give a bit of protection from water. It's a really good cream and a good range of products. Costs a lot to get started but you don't use much once you get used to the routine.

Good product
I bought this for my trickers bourton in acorn as the colour is quite light. I can confirm this is the correct colour for these shoes. It is a cream and very light and soft. You can use this alone and get a very soft shine. I tried to buff it up after letting it soak in with ok results. However I ended up going back and applying trickers fawn wax polish over the top for a better finish.this soaked into the leather and it smells fantasticI was surprised how much was gone after just one application thoughI would buy it again because there is no point putting cheap products on expensive shoesOverall very pleased

Looks quality and feel quality on my leather shoes
I think this review is a bit early and I will correct it if anything changes but I am very pleased with this cream polish. I have covered 3 pairs of my beloved leather Chelsea boots one evening, followed with Saphire high gloss wax and my shoes look like they are 3 months old, not over 2 years old.The cream has a very easy to work texture and gets inside your shoes without leaving too much of residue. The next day my shoes looked nicely matt and very nice in touch. I would recommend to get a was polish to go with it but when I started to buff it in I noticed a very pleasant shine which is very nice by itself.I think I may be converted for good.
