This soft spiral notebook may be super plain, but that’s exactly what makes it so perfect—especially for my 4-year-old! He’s just starting to get into writing and drawing, and this notebook made him feel like he was using “real grown-up stuff,” just like mom and dad. The soft cover is flexible and easy for little hands to manage, and the spiral binding lets the pages lay flat, which makes it much easier for him to work on. The paper quality is great—no bleed-through or tearing when he presses down hard with crayons or markers.

These sketch journals are almost exactly what I was looking for. I use to do daily drawings to help grow my skills and keep my creative mind limber; but then I had kids. Recently, I decided to start drawing again but found that using my standard size sketch pad was too cumbersome and very difficult to just whip out for a quick sketch. So that's when I stumbled upon these reasonably priced small sketch journals and decided to give them a try. So far I have found these journals are much easier to keep at an arm's reach should I find a quick moment to draw. I think these sketch journals should serve my needs nicely, however I do wish the paper weight was a little heavier. This paper is like a slightly heavier weight printer paper; smoother and thinner than I expected based on reviews. I do primarily draw in pen so the smooth paper works nicely for that, but the thinness of the paper does not. I probably wouldn't recommend this sketch pad for graphite or colored pencil as the paper lacks the texture or the tooth preferred for those mediums. My goal is to draw a bit everyday, practice my pen work, and jump start my creativity: so the overall quality of these sketch pads and their paper should work just fine. I could also see these being perfect for someone new to drawing or someone looking for a travel friendly journal.

I'm very pleased with the quality for the price. The soft covers are flexible yet durable enough to withstand being tossed in my bag without getting damaged. The spiral binding allows the notebooks to lay flat, which is great for writing. The paper is smooth and thick enough and can also be used to sketch which is my favourite part.

I've purchased these twice now to make little sticker books for my kids and my friend's kids. I was looking for something that's relatively small, plain covered so I could customize them, with blank pages for the stickers, and spiral binding to manage the bulk as it fills up, and these fit the bill. The covers are pretty sturdy and pages have a decent weight. I haven't found anything quite like this in my local stores and will definitely buy these again for any additional sticker books I may gift in the future!

I love these drawing notebook’s! I can draw, color, and paint on them! There is bleed though, and it will show on the opposite side, but it is great for the price and how cute it is!

I was looking for some notebooks to take on our upcoming trip for my grandsons to use as a travel journal. They were just the right size, had blank paper inside with a spiral binding. Perfect size for our little guys to use. The paper was thick enough that the markers did not bleed through. I have two small complaints on these notebooks. When they arrived, they were wrapped in plastic. When I opened them, I got a very strong odor! I had to leave them outside on our porch for the entire day to get this scent to go away. The second issue, is the cardboard cover is not very thick or stiff. Thank goodness, the kids were able to flip the pages where both covers were being used as their desk. This seems to help,with the flexibility. The notebooks were a hit! These boys took their first airplane trip, ages 4 and 6. These books kept them entertained the entire time we were waiting for our flight. Throughout the trip, they would document their day in pictures. The oldest even wrote a note to his grandpa, who couldn’t come on the trip, and we were able to take a picture of his note and sent it to Papa. These notebooks were exactly what we needed even with their slight flaws.
