There were a lot of twist, turns, lies to uncover, and shocking reveals. It made me laugh, gave me goosebumps, had some great revenge, unexpected love, and some twists that will make you shocked. I loved how it ended. A lot happens and you just have to sit back and enjoy the ride. 🌶️Spice wise: this is thriller romance. It is not dark romance, and while there is spice, it’s not overly explicit or abundant. It was added in as part of the story and never took away from the plot. It just kind of adds to the love story that’s there. I think people that enjoy shows like Dexter and Criminal Minds will enjoy this book. These are the chapters by book that contained some kind of spice: - The Risk: 8 and 15 - Sidetracked: 11 - Scarlet Angel: 9, 12, and 14 - All the Lies: 7 and 16 - Paint It All Red: 7 Review: LOVE LOVE LOVE 10/10 RECCOMMEND!!! - Love this story, unlike some people who hate reading books without spice, I think it had a good amount without being too overbearing. Sometimes reading my favorite dark romances, such as "God of Malice" (Rina Kent) and "Haunting/Hunting Adeline" (H.D Carlton) sometimes all that spice can be annoying or overbearing, so sometimes I like to read a good fantasy, like "The Last Dragon King" by Leia Stone, or good ass thrillers, such as this book with alot less spice or even close to none, it just gives my mind a good break from all that horny, spicy stuff sometimes, It's so good and pretty fast pace, especially how quickly Logan and Lana met in like the first few pages, but still good. I was so sad to find out on the very last page (Not the last page of the story but of the actual book) that this amazing authoer died last year, especially since she died close to my birthday! (My B-day is July 29th and she died July 24th!!) I'm so sad but if her book writing skills are as good as this book then ill buy all of her books in all three of her pennames just to show appreciation, this book got me hooked to it very early on and that's very rare, especially for thriller/horror(?) books. But this book was awesome and I'd definitely reccommend to anyone who's debating on buying it, JUST BUY IT BESTIE. I've been debating getting this for about a year because in my opinion it was kinda pricey but I finally decided to buy it and it did NOT disapoint!

Absolute Hell in the best way possible!!
Absolute Hell in the best way!!! I've never read a book so intense that it truly took me away from my own reality. This is and will forever be my #1 favorite book. I'd give infinity stars if I could. I started reading this book with the intent to read one or two chapters before bed and I failed and read the hole thing in less than 72 hours. It wouldn't have taken me that long but life got in the way a few times lol. Definitely 100% Recommend!!!! Just not for the weak minded.

Dark and Addictive
The Mindfuck Series completely sucked me in way faster than I expected. It’s dark, fast-paced, and honestly kind of addictive. Lana is one of the most interesting, complex characters I’ve read in a while, and the way the story balances trauma, revenge, romance, and tension kept me turning pages like crazy.

Best thriller book this year
Absolutely gripping, unapologetically dark, and emotionally devastating in the best way, S.T. Abby’s Mindf*ck Series is a masterclass in genre fusion. This five book saga blends psychological thriller, romance, and vigilante justice into a whirlwind that leaves readers breathless and morally conflicted. What Makes It Unforgettable - Lana Myers, the protagonist, is not your typical heroine. She’s a serial killer with a tragic past, seeking revenge on those who destroyed her life. But she’s also fiercely intelligent, emotionally complex, and somehow deeply lovable. - Logan Bennett, the FBI profiler who falls for her, adds layers of tension and irony. He hunts killers for a living… and he’s unknowingly in love with one. - The series explores themes of trauma, justice, and redemption with raw honesty. It doesn’t shy away from disturbing content, but it handles it with care and purpose. Why You’ll Binge It - Each book is novella length, making it easy to devour in a weekend, but the emotional impact lingers long after. - The pacing is relentless, the cliffhangers are brutal, and the romance is as twisted as it is tender. - It’s perfect for fans of dark romance who want more than just steam, this series delivers depth, grit, and a heroine who redefines vengeance. Final Verdict The Mindfck Series isn’t just a story, it’s an experience. It’s the kind of series that makes you question your own moral compass while cheering for a killer with a cause. If you’re ready to dive into a world where justice is bloody, love is dangerous, and every chapter leaves you gasping, this is your next obsession.

Addictive
This series hooked me from page one. A serial killer heroine you root for? A sweet FBI agent falling for her without knowing she’s the one he’s hunting? Absolute chaos — and I loved every second. Lana is such a powerful, complex character. Her trauma is heartbreaking, but her revenge? So satisfying. Logan surprised me too — supportive, conflicted, and way more ride-or-die than expected. The pacing is fast, the twists keep coming, and somehow there’s still room for real emotion and healing. It’s violent, it’s heavy, but it’s also weirdly romantic? Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars: a few rushed moments and some suspension of disbelief needed. But honestly? Totally worth it. If you're into dark romance and morally gray characters, this one’s a must-read.

I haven't finished the whole series yet, but I am currently on, "All the lies" (I believe that's what it's called), which is the fourth book. This is the first dark romance that has caught my attention and, while the writing was very simple (she did this, he said this, this is how she felt), it was surprisingly very good! The two main character's relationship was most sexual at the start which I didn't personally love reading, but I have loved watching them take on more of a caring, loving type of relationship as they became official and more serious about one another. I think that even if you don't really love dark romances, this is the book that may be the exception like it was for me. I also really loved slowly figuring out the horrific crimes that some of the criminals have commited, and love how it all wraps into one interesting, sick, and well written FBI crimes that are likely to happen in our world. However, with crimes that are very sick, there are going to be quite a few TW's. The one's I can remember at the moment are: 1. Murder 2. Sexual Assault of a minor 3. Rape of a minor 4. Homophobia, and homophobic slurs 5. Being held down/restrained (during a murder, SA, and rape) There will for sure be many more, but I can't recall them all right now, but for sure check them beforehand if you are wanting to pick up this amazing book! (I personally rated the first one a 4/5, the second a 4.25/5 star, and the third a 4.5/5. There is so much to love about this book, the wonderful romance, the humor, the sick and twisted scenes that just make you wanna close the book and take a breather, and the FBI side of this story which is actually becoming one of my faves.

This book doesn't waste words. It goes straight to the jugular. You are either ready or you are. The author didn't pull punches. I felt everything and more while reading it. Joy, love and an anguish so deep I felt like my heart couldn't take more. The series starts with Lana meeting Logan at a bar. But it was more than just a first encounter of two strangers. That was the meeting of a serial Killer and an FBI profiler who, surprise, is investigating said killer. If you think you have met a strong female in past books, you are wrong. Lana is the Top 1 in my list. She survived hell and she is now hell bent in exacting her revenge in the only way possible. I won't say I can relate to her character because quite frankly there's very little amount of people that ever went through half of what she went through. But I can say one thing: I would freaking do the same. I don't know if that makes me a terrible person and I'm okay if that's what it makes me. Her character is every Empath's mine field. There was no sugarcoating what happened to her. And if you think you know what happened you are wrong again. I was half tempted to google what went through just to save myself from the pain but I forced myself to endure. It was The Journey and it was a bumpy one. I couldn't help but root for the FBI to not get her before she got through her list. Logan on the other hand was such a sweetheart. He healed part of Lana's soul that had long lost the ability to trust another human being. He showed her what was to be cherished and loved. I will leave this review at this because I want everyone to enjoy this ride and feel all that there's to feel.

This is THE GREATEST BOOK ever written when it comes to serial killer romance — actually it’s just the greatest book ever, though some might disagree and they’d be wrong. It’s perfect. The book is so thought through, and you’re not really sure what the plan is, neither what Lana plans nor what the author is planning as you go along but you just keep reading because it is awesome. I have never been on the exact same wavelength as a character before but here it’s just spot on! It’s truly amazing how the main character is so real and so relatable and funny! There’s sarcasm, jokes, trauma, abuse, rape and murder, torture, screams and sex. I cried. Multiple times! And when it was done, I cried some more, mostly because the author is dead and the book was finished. I have legit read over a hundred books since this one and non compare.

A story that will shake you to your core and make you question even your own morality. A five series book which captures your attention from the very first go. At the start of every chapter there are quips from Albert Einstein, Voltaire, William Shakespeare and Confucius. At first glance it seems these quips are random at most but as you proceed through the book you will discover their personal relation to the FMC and how in each chapter they have served as a poetic tool. This is a story of revenge, pain and love where the dark and gruesome reality of our society has been painted with the rawest colour of red. A love so deep that it grounded the angel of death and made the daylight hero question everything he stood for. A girl who dragged through the worst form of pain and survived. Every time a rotten soul was taken out, the ending wielded a poetic justice: a morbid poetic justice. I can't say I am ashamed to admit that I was happy when the monsters got what they deserved at the end of the day. So if you are looking for a strong FMC story with morally questionable actions and a love that is pure as anything that could be out there but still painted with darkness, I would suggest you to give it a read. This story will make you cry for the pure souls, will make you enraged for the injustice, believe that love can perish through everything, and finally be happy to see the monsters being dragged to hell.

Seriously, read about this book on a amarican thriller group.. The price was holding me back but in the end I was happy I bought and read this one. It has all the things a good thriller needs to have.. The twists are epic.
