Cheaper than some but good quality, I have them on a 5” vice and they fit well. The two magnets are strong enough to hold them in place when the jaws are open. They will be too short for a 6” vice.

Not sure why they are 4.5". Small vices are usually 100mm. Not come across 4.5" vices. Going to cut off the excess. Good magnetic grip. If the magnets fall out as an Amazon.commer gripes I will just superglue then back in. Update: a magnet on the green one fell out. I superglued it back. 2nd update: another magnet on the green one fell out. I glued it back with contact adhesive this time. I suspect the glue used on the green soft jaw is too brittle and flexing the soft jaw in use is cracking the adhesive. Soon I will have all contact adhesive and I'll see.

Just what i needed, moved to a new house, and at last fitted up my old Dads vice, but the jaws are so hard, these fitted nicely, with strong magnets. So now i can use the old family heirloom again...

I did not like these jaw protectors the magnets are weak and they are too high and too deep limiting the opening distance and I found the jaws tended to topple inwards as you wound up the vice. Altogether too bulky.

They are a very good price. They safely hold objects which can be easily damaged. These are not for steel etc which you want to bend or hammer. Totally recommended

De magneten zijn zo zwak dat ze eraf vallen zodra je probeert er iets tussen te klemmen. Het kiept om voordat het de kans heeft om te sluiten. Niet kopen. Is jammer van je geld.

Peril momento sono soddisfatto, ho utilizzato solo le ganasce piane in plastica e calzano bene sulla mia morsa da banco e grazie ai magneti stanno ferme quando tolgo e metto gli oggetti in morsa senza cadere come le ganasce in alluminio che mi ero costruito. Per ora sembrano durare, eventualmente aggiornerò la recensione in futuro se dovessero manifestare problemi.

Van perfectas ya que no dañan materiales pulidos etc. y hay piezas redondas que se pueden poner en varias posiciones.
