I've wanted one of these bad boys for ages and in a moment of weakness (or absolute clarity), ordered one for me as a present from my wife. She was surprised when I opened it on xmas morning and I said (in front of the kids) what a great Mam she was, earning her brownie points into the bargain. I've since used it to accurately measure the new extension we've been having built and anything else I can find that needs measuring. It's excellent and so easy to use.

Well worth the money as it is so accurate and good value. Cheap for the distance it can measure...

Works very well

Given many of the laser measures on the market are far more expensive I was somewhat dubious about the quality this would be. I needn't have been worried, it appears to be good quality and certainly does the job. I only needed some measurements of my loft for insulating, so 100% accuracy wasn't an issue (although I'm sure the device is accurate), but given the distance was over 48ft. (with a wall in the middle) and I only had a 16ft tape measure it would have been a pain to try to measure manually. With the laser, it took all of a few seconds (and is probably more accurate than I would have been). As a device I will only use a few times, the £18 price tag isn't too bad, I'm sure any professional DIYer's or contractors may well prefer a much more expensive brand name and will probably get some additional functionality that this cheaper unit does not have, but it did what I needed it to and did it quickly and without any fuss. Good enough for me. :)

Quite robust as it still functions after the delivery driver delivered it by lobbing it over a 6' gate , impressed with the product it'll come in handy on the range to pick my target distance .

Works well but batteries don’t last very long. Had to replace batteries after about 3 weeks.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Not the most intuitive when it come to doing area scans etc (negative thing from being used to touch screens these days), but once you get used to it - awesome device. Accurate!
