Method Deodorant, Sea + Surf, 2.65 oz, 24 Hour Odor Protection, 2.65 oz

This deodorant goes on smooth with no mess or residue, which I really appreciate. The cedar + cypress scent is fresh, woodsy, and lasts all day without being overpowering. It’s become my go-to because it actually works and smells great.

Great switch from more name brand deodorants. It has such a nice smell that isn’t too dull or over powering. It also stays smelling nice even when you sweat and doesn’t turn into a weird combination of musky smell. I will continue to buy!

I use another brand most of the time but was running low and it was on sale. The scent is a bit more masculine than I am used to but neutral enough t for a woman to use who likes refreshing herbal scents. I was a bit disappointed as it does not last as long as my other brand so I switch off and on depending on my needs that day and how warm it may get. It has lasted four months so far, and goes on smooth with no discernible show of the product under my arms when applied. One scent of my other deodorant does leave dark stains on my clothing so I stopped using that one and like that this doesn’t do that.

The scent is very nice; manly but not overly musky. I look at ingredients very closely and have been on several websites researching the safer ingredients used in Method. There is a natural deodorant here on amazon that charges twice the price with almost identical ingredients. It is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant which is something to note, however, it does assist with wetness control to a degree. It's also worth mentioning that since I went on my "deodorant journey" looking for cleaner ingredients that work and won't break me out, the latter has happened. I've had skin irritation when buying other "natural" deodorants, but this one from Method is beautiful. If any of what I've written here resonates with you, I suggest giving it a shot. I was looking for something not toxic and nice scentBeing Asian, maybe it’s genetic things but the armpit doesn’t smell, so naturally you don’t find deodorant in Japan that easily, having said that,Since I came to the U.S., there are lots of them and lots of nice scent, I thought it’s nice to try.But it made me itchy so I only used Dave (travel size ) when I felt like using it.I thought about to try something new,So i tried this one. The lid was super hard to open, I almost gave up but finally it did (asked someone else to open it.)The case is nice in pink and the scent is very calming and soft.But it is Very subtle, you can’t tell the rose scent unless you sniff directly where I put.So I would say it is very subtle and I’m not sure the effect of preventing the bad smellsBut I personally preferred to have a bit more scent so you can slightly tell the rose soft scentBut it is actually none to feel itI almost gave it 4 stars because it didn’t give me itchiness, and I like the scentNegative side is it was way too hard to open it, Ando scent is subtleBut it works well for my needsMaybe 3.5 stars

I saw someone’s review explaining the new formulation that came with the new look and even though they weren’t happy with it and said it no longer worked for them I still decided to give it a shot because I absolutely loved their old formulation and had been using it for a few years now. It’s a sad day, but I am here to say this will be my last order from method. It stinks (ok, pun intended lol) and I hope they go back to their coconut oil-based version. I put it on and 2-3 hours later I smell. I honestly think applying it promotes growth of that bacteria and I’d be better off not wearing anything compared to using this now that I think about it. This stuff is just a cheaper watered down version made with more questionable products to replace what they took out. People are wising up, Method! No bueno. Your customers should always come before your stakeholders. Always. Just go back to the original formulation. Yes, coconut oil is more expensive than what you changed to. I’d rather pay more for a product that works. Until then, I gotta move on to another brand. Love, a longtime sea + surf guy 🏄‍♂️

smells great, gentle on skin, lasts long. each tube lasts me almost three months

Over the past couple months I've slowly become a big fan of Method products. I started out giving their body wash a try and was super impressed with it. The scents smell SO GOOD, my skin loves the formula, and washing with them always leaves me feeling clean and refreshed. Because of this, I decided to give their deodorant a try, and I wasn't at all surprised to find out I love it just the same. It smells just as wonderful as the body wash, and works exactly as you need your deodorant too. Regardless if I'm at the office working, or hitting up the gym, this deodorant keeps me smelling and feeling fresh all throughout the day. I typically have decently sensitive skin, and used to suffer from pretty bad eczema, so I'm always careful when trying out new stuff. Method has far surpassed my expectations and is now a staple in my bathroom. Not only do the products work well, but they are very affordable, which is the next big win on my list. It's really nice to be able to find something that smells so good, that has such a long lasting scent, and all at an affordable price. I'm going to give their shampoo and conditioner a try next. I saw on Amazon earlier that they have this neat box set where you can get the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner all together for a reduced price. It's a good deal, and I plan on making use of it.Tldr: I'm a big fan of Method's products. The deodorant works as intended, smells great, and lasts all day. I haven't had any negative skin reactions to any of their products thus far, and their prices are very budget friendly. 10/10 in my book, and I highly recommend giving their stuff a try.Disclaimer: I was not paid or given a free product to write this ad.
