Improved my game. Great quality, as expected from Yonex. A must for finding that complex groundstroke tennis feel. Other strokes too, like serves. Recommended for beginner, intermediate, advance players looking to calibrate.

I was going to get the saber, but Yonex has my heart and it's at a much more reasonable price point. I was very excited to use the smaller headed racquet to practice hitting my sweet spot and it honestly seemed like fun to play or warm up with. The build is solid with good flex and the head shape is isometric-ish, which is very Yonex esque. Only thing I will say is that the balance is very head light and I can't seem to swing as naturally as with my regular sized racquets. I used around 5-8 grams of lead tape on the head and that seemed to solve the issue though. I'd also recommend restringing before using, though it's not required. Happy hitting! p.s. I also recently found out it's used for soft tennis and not tennis tennis, so that might explain why the balance seemed off.

I purchased this to have my son practice the sweet spot, and have his eyes concentrate more on the point of contact. It is about 3 in longer than needed from the handle to hit a sweet spot on a regular tennis racket. I used an overgrip where I thicken up the butt wrap and wrapped it down just like a regular tennis handle so that he could grip from there to start. This helps a lot since the extra 3 inches prohibited him from bad habits and allowed for serve practice where pronation is needed. (If he did not pronate, then it would hit his forearm. But if he donated correctly it would pass his forearm.) I also added a lot of lead tape to weigh the racket feel to mimic his tennis racket. Hybrid strung with luxilon and syn gut to give some bounce and tensioned it about half of what he plays. I can't say much on tension as you'll have to figure it out with your playing style. The original strings are ok if you're a beginner just wanting to hit lightly but you're going to want to adjust that if going for something more serious. I was trying to save money instead of getting a saber.

If you frame the ball often, training with this racquet improves your skill in hitting the sweat-spot. Though it is not only facet to achieve this. You still need to improve positioning and footwork.

This really helps ya work on your sweet spot practice. I didn’t realize I was so accurate and consistent on my backhand and not so much on my forehand. So much fun to see where you need improvement! Highly recommend!

Mi hija la uso para entrenar pegarle con el punto dulce del lado de backhand y al principio se le hizo difícil, luego de unos días practicando mejoró su golpe. Para el forehand no le funciona porque ella le pega con topsping, esta raqueta trabaja mejor con golpes planos

strings that come with the racket is not very playable if you hit with topspin. I dont see the point of hitting just strainghts shots. Nice build quality, designed by Yonex and made in china
